Boston is full of natural beauty, and when you add in two gorgeous people in love, it truly blossoms. Tim and Faith are NYC residents, but spent their grad school years in Boston. After 14 years of courtship, they will be marrying this fall in Puerto Rico. Tim, who is in the finance industry, and Faith, the head of the non-profit organization Archimedes Project, returned to their old stomping grounds on a glorious summer day and the fabulous George Rivera Photography captured these stunning images. We adore this couple and the love they radiate!
We just love a pretty party, and this colorful and eclectic display styled by Beehive Events had us at hello! The elegant palette of mauve, purple, silver, and green unexpectedly yet perfectly matched the Asian-inspired touches such as an oriental rug, cherry blossoms, and scroll art. Printed china and sequin linens add a whimsical feel, as do delicate orchids at each place setting. A party isn’t a party without cocktails, and A. Pimento Catering staged a fabulous cocktail bar with refreshing beverages of citrus, ginger, and mint. We would love to be a guest at this soiree, but will have to settle instead for oohing and aahing over the gorgeous images from Jen Fariello Photography!
You know that we are absolutely mad about unique, timeless details for your wedding. But we are equally smitten with keepsakes that commemorate your wedding, which will be cherished for a lifetime! Josiah Morgan | Handcrafted Images creates just that. They use a vintage chemical process from the 1800’s to create tintypes, one of the oldest ways to make a photograph. Tintypes are created by hand from silver and metal and turn any photograph into a completely one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Whether you will be using tintypes to display family photos at your wedding (we love the idea of creating a multi-generational family table!), creating a keepsake from your favorite wedding photo or bridal portrait, or give as a gift for your bridal party, we know you will swoon over the absolute beauty of these prints! It’s simple to commission your own custom tintype from a digital photo. Or, if you are in metro Atlanta, you can even visit the Morgan’s home studio to have a custom tintype portrait made using a vintage camera!
We are so excited that Josiah Morgan is giving a free 6×9 tintype to one EAD reader! To enter for your chance to win, simply enter your email in the contest form below. We’ll do a random drawing on Friday, August 8th at 12:00pm Eastern Time and notify the winner!
And just in case you aren’t the lucky giveaway winner, enter your email address below for $10 off of your own custom tintype. Be sure to peruse Josiah Morgan’s site for information about these gorgeous, timeless pieces.

Maryam and Josh’s Utah wedding is absolutely breathtaking! Held at Sandy’s stunning La Caille restaurant, the natural elegance of the venue took a central role in the day. The couple’s interfaith ceremony was held at the base of the Wasatch mountains, alongside the vineyard, and featured customs from both her Persian and his Jewish cultures. After a patio cocktail hour, guests were escorted to their tables with champagne flutes adorned with mint, blackberry, and a table number scroll. La Fete accented the draping greenery of the surroundings with lush eucalyptus and ivy, rich floral in shades of green and burgundy, and glowing candlelight from silver candelabras. Burgundy dahlias and chocolate lace flowers add a pop of deep color to the greenery garlands and eucalyptus sprigs at each place setting. The traditional Sofreh Aghd featured items personally selected by Maryam’s grandmother and mother in the bazaars in Iran, and of course, everyone joined in for the Jewish Horah! The entire day is absolute perfection, beautifully captured by Jacque Lynn Photography!
