Owner Whitney Wing Drake has long since considered London to be her very favorite city (editor’s note: it’s my favorite city too!), and while appearing as a guest speaker in 2012 at the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, she connected with many British wedding coordinators who gave her tours of their favorite wedding venues, both inside and outside of the city.  Whitney fell head over heels for these venues, especially Highclere Castle, the stunning set of Downton Abbey, and was excited to learn that it is available as a wedding venue outside of filming season!   It was after this experience that Whitney knew that adding a new branch to Wish Wonder Dream would be her next big adventure, specializing in coordinating weddings across the pond.

Many couples are full of questions about planning a wedding in another country, but Wish Wonder Dream makes the process seamless with an international team.  By pairing up clients with both American and British coordinators, every single detail, stateside or abroad, can be perfectly managed and executed.  From their studio in Pasadena, Wish Wonder Dream meets with clients to handle stationery, attire, travel details and more.  British coordinators assist with selecting venues, hiring vendors, hotel accommodations and other abroad-focused to-dos.

We just simply cannot stop gushing over Melissa and Joe’s incredible wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach. Not a single thing was overlooked, thanks to planning and design from Jeannie Savage of Details Details Weddings & Events and White Lilac, Inc. We’re stunned at the gorgeousness of the outdoor ceremony setting—that amazing gazebo with chandeliers and the iron gates completely covered in lush pink garden blooms! Melissa’s dress is absolute perfection, with a full ruffled skirt made for dancing. The reception is equally stunning, and the images from Samuel Lippke Studios didn’t miss any of the exquisite details, from vintage decor to oversize pink and cream flower centerpieces to the gold and cream cake that echoes the motif of the intricate invitations. We love a gorgeous spring wedding, and this one fills the bill perfectly. Stephanie and Jeremy’s wedding at the Hotel Bel Air was held in the garden beneath a gazebo draped with lush flowers and greenery by Flower Wild. The flowy light taupe of the Amsale bridesmaids dresses are elegant next to Stephanie’s ethereal Monique Lhuillier gown. As summer creeps ever closer, I’m endlessly inspired by cheery colors, and my latest obsession is this shade of mauve-y purple that is absolutely beautiful with a fresh green and hint of pale coral. In addition to being the perfect palette for a summer garden wedding, this is a gorgeous color choice for interiors as well—isn’t the summer cottage in the top row just fabulous?

This gorgeous California secret garden shoot, brought to us by the fab Jen Huang Photography, sets our bohemian hearts aflutter! From the lovely and simple Saja gown to the bride’s soft, loose curls, everything here is uber-romantic. The pops of blue and white in the china echo the fountain wall for a bright burst of color, along with the bold pink-red and white florals by Kelly Kaufman Design.
