We are mesmerized by the moody, sophisticated photos from Yoko and Andy’s engagement session. The wonderful Andria Lindquist took these chic images of the couple as they worked their way around Brooklyn and Manhattan. We just love the playfulness of these pictures against the serious New York backdrop!

Modern and fresh Room 1520 was the setting for Alex and Charlotte’s gorgeous Chicago soiree! The ceremony beautifully brought together Charlotte’s Presbyterian background and Alex’s Jewish heritage, and, inspired by a sweet Southern summer, the couple, along with their wedding planner Beth Bernstein of SQN Events and florist Hello Darling, transformed the raw, industrial loft space with lovely garden-style arrangements, mercury glass vases, and a cozy lounge area. Working from a palate of soft grey, smoky lavender and sage green, the narrow rectangular tables created an intimate dinner party feel for the evening reception. We love Charlotte’s natural, curly updo and beautiful Monique Lhullier gown—she and Alex radiate love in the beautiful images from Olivia Leigh Photographie!

Lauren and Stewart’s candlelit Nashville wedding and reception is so breathtaking! The drama of the flickering light during the ceremony at Scarritt-Bennett Center is softened by Lauren’s vintage-inspired lace dress from Bella Couture and pale pink bridesmaids dresses by The Dessy Group. Classic bouquets accented with cameo pins and pastel flowers, all by A Village of Flowers, add to the antique look of the reception at aVenue—we adore all of the lace, floating candles, and those fabulous chandeliers! Even the Jay Qualls cake gets a dose of old-school with vintage brooches festooned on the layers. Kristyn Hogan shared these gorgeous images with us—they perfectly capture the romance of Lauren and Stewart’s day! See the entire gorgeous event in the gallery!

After being named Pantone’s color of the year for 2013, emerald is all the rage! And while I adore all of the fresh and modern emerald inspiration we are seeing lately, I had a more natural, elegant vision in my head—lush greenery, taupe accents, and loads of lace for an elegant emerald garden wedding!

Mari and Neil’s South Florida beach wedding is the perfect mix of simple and elegant. Minimal decor allows the gorgeous surroundings of Delray Beach to serve as a romantic backdrop for Mari, dressed in a classic understated gown, and Neil’s vows. Coordination and planning by Sugar(ed) Occasions ensured the reception was filled with soft candlelight, cream flowers, sparkly mercury glass, and personal touches like a Champagne bar, which Mari set up to showcase some of her favorite bubbly. We’re in love with the beautiful light in these images from Becca Borge!
