Colorful Summer Bridal Inspiration

Austin’s gorgeous Laguna Gloria set the scene for a vibrant and colorful bridal inspiration shoot designed by Lindsey Brunk. The Italian-style villa, with its black and white checkered floors, dramatic doors and windows, and expansive grounds is an elegant location for weddings or portraits. Lindsey chose to showcase a gown from Romanian designer Divine Atelier, and the darling mix of lace and chiffon paired with a slightly daring back cutout is unexpected and unique! Makenzi Laine chose to accent Mel’s natural beauty with soft makeup, vivid lips, and a chic updo. A punchy and playful bouquet from Without Wax, Katy completed the swoon-worthy bridal ensemble! We are always head over heels for the images from Michelle Boyd Photography, and we know you will be too!

Wedding Inspiration in Venice

When Sandrine from Elegance in France and her fiancé, the talented Emmanuel Pinte photographie, decided to spend a romantic weekend in Venice to celebrate their first anniversary, they were inspired to create a shoot showcasing the beautiful architecture and the city’s unique and fabled twisting footpaths, winding canals, and enchanting bridges. A dramatic black dress with a flowing black silk cape set the tone, echoing the mystery and darkness of the traditional carnival masks. Joy from Studio French Blue designed bespoke stationery featuring a hand-drawn bridge motif and elegant swaths of calligraphy. A tabletop set atop deep black linens featured sophisticated florals by Olivier Gental with anemones and ranunculus, set amongst glimmering pillar candles and baroque china. Prepare to be transported to magical Italy!

Washington DC Country Club Wedding

Andrew and Julie’s DC wedding was quintessentially classic, reminiscent of its locale. The wedding party enjoyed a leisurely morning at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City as Julie slipped into her stunning Liancarlo gown, and then made their way to Arlington’s Restoration Anglican Church, a bright and airy chapel overflowing with sunlight. The couple worked with Dutch Floral Garden, who created beautiful one-of-a-kind window decor for the chapel, with no two windows being alike. Afterward, the stately Army Navy Country Club was home to an elegant reception. The combination of magnificent chandeliers and towering centerpieces brought intimacy and elegance to the grand ballroom. Guests captured a glimpse of the Washington Monument from the rooftop cocktail hour and then were treated to a miniature version inside at the escort card table—such a fun touch! The Lego monument was built entirely by hand by none other than the groom himself, and the bed of grass surrounding the monument was real, soft-to-the-touch lush green grass. Guests danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Evan Reitmeyer, and then Andrew and Julie escaped down the grand staircase among hundreds of fluttering bubbles. Each moment is beautifully captured by Stephanie Yonce Photography!

Spanish Mission Texas Wedding

Dana and Donte may just be the most picture-perfect couple, and their intimate, backyard wedding under the warm Texas sky has us spellbound! The couple searched high and low for their perfect venue and luckily found a Spanish Mission as a rental home, and the rest, as they say, is history! Though bringing in each and every item for a wedding is a daunting task, Wedfully Yours (where the bride is a lead coordinator) worked tirelessly to make this Big Day perfect. Donte and Dana met in high school and became inseparable after reconnecting two years ago. Dana shares “My mom said I always thought she didn’t like him, but really, she didn’t like that I was so crazy about him. I’d completely lose my mind from the excitement!” Their story—along with Dana’s new not-for-profit business dedicated to hiring people who have fallen into homelessness— touched the heart of Brittany Lauren Photography when we held a wedding photography contest here on EAD earlier this year, and it’s easy to see why. We can’t help but fall in love with this couple, whose love and affection for each other shine through in absolutely every moment. We know you will feel the same!

Waterside Wedding on Shelter Island

Megan and Joshua were married on a beautiful, sunny June day at the stunning Sunset Beach Hotel on Shelter Island. The idyllic New York getaway is reminiscent of a European seaport, with crystal blue waters. Their celebration was a true family affair, with their twins, Noah and Sydney, taking part in the ceremony—under a gorgeous chuppah by Bella Flowers—which commemorated their unification as a family. As the sun set behind the glistening water, guests enjoyed a perfect summer evening and danced the night away to The Gypsy Kings Tribute Band. Every moment of this heartfelt gathering was captured beautifully by Karen Hill Photography, and we are smitten!
