Romantic Chicago Wedding in Lincoln Park

Kristina and Will’s Chicago wedding is a romantic affair with timeless decor, lush florals, and a bit of vintage charm! They were married at Salvatore’s in the heart of Lincoln Park, the same neighborhood where they met over 7 years before. The couple and their bridal party spent the afternoon visiting several iconic Chicago landmarks, including the Wrigley Building, and enjoying the Air and Water Show from their balcony at the Waldorf-Astoria. Kristina’s beaded Galina Signature gown from David’s Bridal is absolutely exquisite. The bouquets from A Stem Above feature the most soft and lovely blush dahlias, astilbe, and garden roses, with a pop of black dahlias in the bridesmaids’ bouquets, magical against their taupe Lela Rose gowns! We adore the personal elements that Kristina and Will infused into their day, including a signature cocktail called the Yum Yum (named after their cat and her sparkly personality!) and their donations to charities close to their hearts in lieu of favors. Enjoy each and every gorgeous image from Artistrie Co.!

Happy Friday and farewell October!  We cannot help but swoon over the stunning weddings and styled shoots that graced the front page of Elizabeth Anne Designs this past month.  In the midst of it all, we were there to celebrate Aisle Society‘s debut at New York Bridal Fashion Week and we had the honor of welcoming the very best in the wedding industry to the EAD family—including three fabulous vendors this week!  Anna Marks Photography is a lifestyle and fine art photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Her style is a mix of fine art and documentary, capturing the candid, real moments of couple’s relationship while creating a beautiful, timeless image that will be cherished forever.  MG Hair and Makeup is the nation’s premier on-site hair and makeup services for weddings, special events, everyday hair and makeup, and so much more.  The fabulous team is trained to help you look like you—only better.   Chiara Natale is a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Italy who live for authentic emotions and true feelings.  She captures images both on film and digital and the end result is truly lovely.

Romantic + Airy Estate Wedding Inspiration

Understated beauty and classic elegance abounds in this gorgeous editorial designed by Chloe+Mint. With the open and airy The Estate on Second as the backdrop, this shoot transports us to an ethereal garden. Gossamer gowns from BHLDN partner beautifully with the venue’s exposed brick. A light and feminine color palette of green, gold, and white was brought to life in the gorgeous tabletop with florals by Emblem Florals. Milk glass, gold candlesticks and green glass goblets mix with stately gold and ivory china from Otis and Pearl to create a romantic feel. Every detail is thought-out, right down to the deep berry lips and flawless beauty styling by Blooming Beauty by Cammy. We’re enchanted by each and every image from Adrienne Gunde!

    Chic NYC Handmade Wedding

Pamela and Ryan’s Long Island City wedding is the most perfect combination of industrial chic and garden glamour! The gorgeous exposed brick and clinging ivy of The Foundry set the stage for their handmade affair. So as not to detract from the raw space, they selected a clean color palette of dove gray, navy, and mint with a glimmer of metallic accents for good measure. Soft and flowing Bari Jay bridesmaids dresses with ruffled accents and Pamela’s Mira Zwillinger gown from Mark Ingram Atelier were perfectly matched by the stunning bouquets from Designs by Ahn, which featured bluish white and blush peonies and ranunculus, accented by anemones, thistle, and eucalyptus. The fragrant greens also graced the tables, weaving throughout the candlesticks atop soft gray linens from Broadway Party Rentals. Their ceremony featured a showstopping floating floral altar that has us mesmerized! We are completely head over heels for all of the handmade details that the couple included, from the amazing groom’s cake right down to the custom wax seals. Every single moment as captured by Cassi Claire is perfection!

Wedding Lounge PillowsWine Bottle Anniversary Years Table Number

From the bride: Ryan and I both agreed that we wanted our wedding to be a reflection of what makes us unique as a couple. While the big picture is a must, I truly believe it’s the details that really make the event. I designed all of the invitations, programs, napkins, stir sticks, menus, place cards with little P(heart)R wax seals, and wedding signage. We created signature cocktail cups with the Bride’s Something New (A “Blood Orange” Signature Cocktail…because as a Clemson fan, my blood runs orange), and the Groom’s Something Old (The Classic Maryland Orange Crush), complete with corresponding napkins, straws, and stir sticks (A Maryland Crab and Clemson Paw). The groomsmen’s tie clips contained the longitude and latitude coordinates where they each met Ryan, and his tie clip contained the coordinates where we met.

I decided to make my Maryland Groom a crab and newspaper cake; designing the entire “New York Times” newspaper with stories I made up (including one that featured art he made when he was a young boy), ads of things he loved, sports scores, and a travel section with all of Ryan’s favorite places. My “something blue” was a piece of the Dorothy dress I had when I was a little girl complete with the saying, “There’s no place like home.” Each table number was also the anniversary year that we plan to open the wine, AND the label of each wine bottle’s label matched that year’s traditional anniversary gift (Year one – Paper, Year two – Cotton, and so on). Table 10 was my favorite—tin—and featured a little dancing tin man (because Dorothy needed her tin man!)

The entire day, start to finish was a complete celebration. Our best man speeches were probably the most hilarious speeches I’ve ever seen—they even had the waiters rolling in laughter. I’ll always cherish the ceremony led by our good friend, the date of our day (my grandparent’s wedding anniversary), that our guests felt special and loved (and that they never left the dance floor), and the fact that I got to marry Ryan.

    Intimate Maryland Garden Wedding

We are absolutely charmed by Jessica and Will’s pretty Maryland wedding. Theirs was an intimate and relaxed affair, with classic touches and a graceful garden setting at Strong Mansion. Everyone who plans an outdoor wedding envisions picture-perfect weather, and several days before, the couple had made peace with having a rainy wedding day. But imagine their delight when on the day of the wedding, the rain ceased just in the nick of time, allowing for their outdoor ceremony! Their non-traditional vows included the best man acting as the officiant and a special surprise for Jessica, as Will surprised her with a recorded version of “She’s Got a Way” for her walk down the aisle, featuring him as the vocalist and her father playing the piano. Pretty peach and blue centerpieces from Love Blooms peppered the reception tent and everyone danced the night away to the tunes of  DC Fusion (including rocking the togas for “Shout”!) We adore every beautiful image from one of our favorites, Michael and Carina!
