The luxe feel and color scheme of Stephanie and Marcus’s outdoor Texas wedding is just amazing! Held at Elmwood Gardens in Palestine, navy one-shoulder bridesmaids dresses from Brides & Belles of Tyler pop against the lush landscape. La Tee Da Flowers created elaborate bouquets in shades of cream, pink, and yellow, and Stephanie’s was dotted with rhinestone brooches that sparkled in the sunlight. She accented her Lea-Ann Belter Bridal gown with plenty of sparkle—from a gorgeous rhinestone hair pin to a pair of drop earrings and hot pink glitter Kate Spade shoes. Krystle Akin Photography captured the elegant affair, first at the outdoor ceremony and then at the indoor reception, where tables were festooned with blooms and touches of ornate gold. You can’t miss the stunner of a cake, either—the confection from Designs by D’anne twinkled with more rhinestones and a shiny navy blue that tied in the colors from the wedding party. See it all in the gallery!

We’re so excited to share a wonderful and relaxing DIY project with you today from the fabulous Rebekah J Murray: a recipe for Herbs de Provence seasoned salts! They’re useful, easy to make, and would make great favors for a wedding or shower.

The recipe is entirely dependent on how many you want to make, but here are the supplies you’ll need:
- 4oz ball jelly jars
- Coarse Sea Salt (If you use finer salt it’ll turn to powder once you put it in the food processor)
- Marjoram
- Sage
- Thyme
- Oregano
- Basil
- Summer Savory
- Rosemary
- Dried Lavender Buds
- 2″ Circle Labels
- Food Processor

Mix equal amounts of the herbs and lavender together, and then add 1 to 1 with the salt. You can play around with the herb to salt ratio depending on how many you need to make and how far you need to stretch your herbs. Once you’ve got your mixture, add it to a food processor and blend for about 10 seconds since the texture of the different herbs is what makes it so pretty.

Scoop the mixture into jars and if you’d like, print our custom label (or create your own), tie a ribbon around the jar if you like, and voila!

They smell incredible and turn a simple chicken dish into a gourmet treat.
