I grew up surrounded by photos. I spent hours looking at my parents’ and grandparents’ photo albums, and would get lost in the images. I wondered about the people they used to be, and about the people surrounding them that I never had the chance to meet. Each photograph told a story that seemed intimate and important. I think those images are part of the reason I became a photographer.
Now I get to photograph the big moments of your day…the first time you see each other – your first kiss – your first dance, but those moments alone don’t tell the whole story. I’m lucky to be there to see the nervous calm of a bride before the day really begins; the first moment a couple realizes that they’re married; or a couple dancing as though they are the only two in the room, while being surrounded by friends and family. I hope to create images of moments like these that will remind you of how you felt on your wedding day – and will help to show future generations who their parents, grandparents (great-grandparents) were.
Take a look at my blog for latest work and to get to know me a bit more. I look forward to hearing about your wedding – wherever it may be!
