Photomuse is a Fine Art/Documentary style wedding and portrait studio in New York City founded by Kristin Reimer. Upon graduating from Pratt Institute in 1991, Kristin utilized her background in fine-art and photojournalistic photography to create her style in the wedding world.

Kristin officially founded Photomuse in 2002. In 2008, Kristin brought in her partner, Steven Fontas, to shoot alongside her. Steven, born and raised in New York City, is a former graffiti artist who turned back to his first love, photography. Together Kristin and Steven create images that are praised as fun and sexy, yet while still retaining a look that is artistic and classic.

Honors and Accolades

Kristin has been featured on leading industry bridal blogs worldwide, in addition to being published in the 2010 book “Wedding Photography – A Guide to Posing.” Photomuse is an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), the Artistic Guild of Wedding Photojournalists (AGWPJA), the International Society of Wedding Professionals (ISPWP) and Cake & Pictures.
