Finally you found your person, and are ready to walk down the isle – how exciting! I believe that your wedding day is the most important and emotional day of your life. The only bummer is that it tends to fly by, it is a whirlwind – I know I’ve been there myself and it is amazing how quickly it all happens.
The photography is something that lasts forever. You should be able look back at every photograph and connect it to a feeling or emotion from your wedding. This is why choosing the right photographer for you is so important. Do your research, look around, and go with the photographer who’s work you feel the most connected to.
My career in photography began 2001 in Dana Point, CA. It was the most pivotal point in my life, both personally and in my career. The studio manager is now my best friend she stood by me as the maid of honor at my wedding, I don’t know where I’d be without her. Most importantly that was the year that I met my husband – my love, and it was also the year I found my passion – photographing love. I enjoy everything about it, the energy and excitement of the day, the emotion, the art, and natural beauty, the ability to be creative with lighting and locations, reflections and positions. Its exhilarating! When I was growing up my grandmother would always say, “Jessie, remember dear you are love” I find it interesting that now in life for me it all revolves around love.
In early 2003 I was enrolled at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. I worked as a second shooter for several different photographers while in school, and I started my own business during my last year of collage. I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a bachelor’s degree in digital imaging in October 2006. It is my goal is to cover your event in all of its uniqueness with artistic flair and stylish elegance.
My weddings are regularly featured on blogs, and in magazine publications including Elizabeth Anne Designs, Style Me Pretty, The Wedding Chicks, Inside Weddings, Modele Magazine, Rangefinder Magazine, Weddings of Inspiration Magazine.
Wedding coverages with Jessica Lewis begin at $3500. Typically my clients spend between $4000 – $7000 on wedding collections. Discounts may be available for weekday weddings or off season weddings.
