I think our grandmothers will appreciate corsages still, but I think our moms are a little bit hipper and would appreciate something a little different.

They were really fun to make and really easy. I spent a little over 2 hours making all of these, start to finish.  I plan to sew pins on the back so they can be worn as a bout or pinned to a ribbon as a wrist corsage.

1. The dollar is weak to the Euro at the moment. Last time I checked, US$1= 1.25 E, so in said scenario, a whole fifth of your budget could potentially get eaten up in exchange rates.


2. Customs fees. You'd have to research rates in your budget range, but you'll probably end up paying import fees, which takes out more money from your dress allowance.


If you look at both of these points and still think you are okay with these, then go for it! With the tight budget, though, I figured I should probably bring those up so you can plan or it and get your money's worth :)
