I am passionate. I am a wife. I am the ever-eager learner. I am loyal. I am a mother. I am driven. I am a photographer… and not in that particular order. I included photographer in the “I am” list because photography is more of who I am rather than what I do. My connection to clients runs deeper than snapping shots of momentous occassions, but rather capturing the occassions that are momentous. Let me clarify: In the midst of a “momentous occassion”, sometimes we miss occassions that are momentous… my passion is to find those moments and document them frozen in time.

I love details that are often overlooked, the space between the empty, and the words that are not said. Yes, I am the photographer who will end up crying as you recite your vows and laughing as you joyously depart for your honeymoon. I’ve always felt the need to connect with my clients on a personal level to capture photos that relive the emotion of that singular moment, with the personalities that are spontaneously original and completely unplanned.

My gift is capturing the moments that will eventually be momentous… because photography is part of who I am and not what I do.
