Marcia was very attentive to all our details. She is also a wedding planner and we used her floral studio for our flowers in addtion to her planning services. The experience was awesome and we would highly recommend her to our friends, families or anyone seeking quality serivces.

I rarely say anything is perfect, but my wedding day was. I was a nervous bride, and very concerned about how I could plan a wedding in Ojai, CA, while living in New Jersey. With Percy Sales, it all went seamlessly. I told him what we wanted and he delivered that and far more. He made dreams that I didn’t even know I had come true!

First of all, he was a pleasure to work with. He has a magnetic and warm personality, and an infectious sense of humor. Whenever I felt stressed, he made me laugh, and just as important, also made me feel secure. His communication was amazing - he must’ve fielded hundreds of emails from me, and instantly responded by phone or email to any question or concern I had. His selection of vendors reflected who he was: They were all extremely talented and personable. Food, flowers, photos, cake, music - all were impeccable. The result was a flawless event that expressed perfectly who we are and what we wanted. His styling produced a venue that became a room full of love. It also looked like something out of a magazine! (Check out our wedding photos on his web site.) Everything he did was extraordinary - from the detail of providing an extra-special gift bag for my grandson to the overall splendor of the wedding ceremony and dinner reception. All my guests loved him, and I couldn’t possibly recommend him more.

When my husband and I got engaged one year ago, I decided to interview wedding planners. When I interviewed Katrina from Made of Honor Weddings she said something to me that I never forgot. She said, “I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and roll up my sleeves to get a job done. I’m not the kind of wedding planner that just sits around and delegates.” I was pretty much sold at that point. From day one she stayed true to her word and came through with every challenge that crossed our paths. Her unique ideas and bubbly personality made our wedding planning and wedding day such a memorable and breathtaking event. We love her and believe that she treated us as real people and not just clients. She will definitely give you the wedding of your dreams!

I hired Simone Endres of Je T’aime Weddings (her company) to plan my October 11, 2008 wedding in Corolla, North Carolina. She was very attentive and helpful until my fiance and I met her in June and paid her $1,000. After that, I did not hear much from her — and soon I did not hear anything at all. I actually thought she was sick or something bad had happened, so I called her home and asked her husband to call me. After that, she emailed me apologizing saying she was very busy planning other weddings. I was pretty angry. I had been completely ignored for over three weeks at this point, and I was depending on her to help me get my vendors lined up for my October wedding. Obviously in June I did not have a lot of time to waste.

In short, I fired Simone. She’s fairly new to the Outer Banks (from New York) and I don’t think she is as experienced as she claims. I am very unhappy with her services and very unhappy that she offered me absolutely no refund, not even partial. This was a blow to our wedding budget and it was a big mistake on my part for not researching her more before I hired her. I hope others will not make the same mistake and I absolutely do not recommend her.

Larissa and I connected from our first emails. She was from Toronto, was a Running Room leader and is a type A personality. I live in Toronto, I met my husband at the Running Room and I am also type A. It was very difficult for me to plan a wedding from so far away and having never been to Costa Rica. This was one of the reasons that we chose Costa Rica, neither my husband nor I had been there.

Richard and I could not thank Larissa and Roberto enough for a beautiful wedding. The entire experience was incredible, positive, romantic and we highly recommended their company. We want to praise their company for the work, time, energy, professionalism, advice given and the compassion that they gave to us. Our wedding day was romantic, incredible, organized, on time and everything that we had dreamed of. Although the weather was not within their control, we could not have asked for better weather. The temperature was just right, there was not a cloud in the sky and the sunset was perfect.

Nicole Kaney did an incredible job, from start to finish, on every detail of our wedding. We live in Dallas and held the wedding in Sarasota, so her local knowledge was paramount to our ability to quickly select the right vendors to create exactly what we wanted. Nicole was always present to answer my questions and listen to my concerns, via phone or email. On the day of the wedding, I have no idea how she managed to be everywhere at once - my hotel, my husband’s location, and the wedding location. Nicole’s special gift came in the 11th hour when she was able to flawlessly execute a rain plan for our outdoor ceremony and reception that exceeded all expectations. Nicole is a joy and a pleasure to work with. Her ability to create a truly special environment as well as attend to the needs of the bride and groom, and their families, is tremendous. Her events are flawless from start to finish.

Evonne is an *amazing* wedding planner!!!! She worked with us every step of the way on this daunting process. Not only is she extremely reliable and communicative, she is SO MUCH FUN to work with!

Evonne is very familiar with all of the reputable wedding vendors. She gives 110%. She bent over backwards for us and worked closely with us to create the magical wedding we were looking for. Not only was she a monumental part of working out all the logistics — from our last minute change of venues to creating the layout for the wedding — she also built the most exquisitely detailed timeline for us and our wedding day went perfectly smoothly because of it. She took time out of her busy schedule to meet with me (numerous times) and answer all my questions and concerns and always came up with such helpful suggestions and ideas. I’ve never met someone as organized, motivated and passionate as Evonne. She’s truly an inspiration!

Hiring her was absolutely the best decision we made for the wedding. On the day of our wedding, I was able to enjoy every moment of it without a single worry because Evonne took care of everything. We absolutely adore her!

I am so glad i found Lucie’s Events. Wendee Robbins is an exceptional event planner. Her and her staff are very professional and are filled with a plethora of ideas for any occassion or theme. I had a unique wedding experience, namely i had TWO weddings, due to some family issues, and i dont know how i would have done either without Lucie’s Events. Both events had a different theme, cake, food, decor, flowers, and Wendee managed to keep both within our budget thanks to her creativity and vision.
