Laura is an absolute pleasure to work with! Her work is beautifully done, with every detail just perfect. She has so many great styles to choose from, it was hard to decide. Laura was professional, always responded promptly and was so nice to deal with every step of the process. I received my envelopes beautifully wrapped in gorgeous paper, tied with a satin ribbon, which made opening them even more exciting! Every envelope was done with perfection. I would absolutely use Laura again, and I highly recommend her!

Laura’s calligraphy is exquisute. She is exteremely professional and timely. She offers a variety of custom services. My wedding envelopes were like a piece of art! I would highly recommend Laura for any calligraphy needs.

I would highly recommend Laura Hooper Calligraphy to all brides looking for a perfect save the date!
As soon as I started working with Laura I was amazed that it was Laura herself e-mailing me and helping me customize my save the dates. Not only did my save the dates come out exacty the way I wanted, the customer service was absolutely fantastic. It was a great feeling not to be rushed, it seemed extremely important for Laura to have her customers happy (I wish that happened more often in wedding planning).
The save the dates for our Bermuda wedding are beautiful and very appropriate for my fiance and me. It was great to be able to be a part of customizing something that means so much, and a lot of paper companies don’t allow that.
After the experience I had with the save the dates, I look forward to working with Laura and her team on other paper products for my wedding, it was an absolute pleasure!

I got engaged May of this year.
After all the celebration and shock had gone the whole wedding planning started. At first, like many newly engaged girl, I just became overwhelmed with all the possibilities, decisions, and options I had with such a vast Industry as that of weddings. For me the easiest decision I have had to make so far was on the Invitations. I looked at several vendors where I live, Puerto Rico, and the options where nice but they just didn’t convince me. They where either too pricey or just not my taste, I then turned to the greatest invention of the 20th century, the internet. After spending about an hour googling for invitations that met my taste and wallet I finally found Laura’s site! I instantly knew her work was right for me!

Laura Hooper is a super talented calligraphist from California, her work really speaks for itself. She not only has great taste but her work is really versatile, affordable (she has a wide range of prices) and she is very professional. When I first contacted Laura she answered me right away, and it was so through out the whole process. From the start she understood what I wanted, and gave me great opinions on what she thought would look best. I wanted my invitations to be very simple, yet elegant and with a subtle “beachy” feeling, and thats exactly what I got! I also got my invitations right away, a little over a week after I aproved the proofs. I have to say that I am really satisfied with the result, and withe the service.

I would definitely recommend Laura’s work to anyone who wants beautiful and unique invitations!

We have been hearing a lot of compliments about Laura Hooper’s Calligraphy. Our invitations went out this week and people are absolutely loving the envelopes that she did for us (Citadel style in gold)! Laura will be doing out name cards and table numbers, too, and I can’t wait to wow our guest with those next!

Laura Hooper Calligraphy was amazing to work with. Even living on separate coasts, I was able to get quick service and responses to all my questions/concerns. My wedding envelope calligraphy looks absolutely beautiful. Laura was extremely responsive and professional. I was even able to get revisions for guests who moved in the middle of the process.

I happened to stumble across Laura Hooper’s work on a of couple blogs. I just got my envelopes back yesterday and they are gorgeous, her calligraphy style even more impressive in person, not to mention the beautiful effect of the handwritten ink to paper. Initially, I was already impressed by her vast range of style offerings from which to choose (and believe me, it was difficult narrowing it down based on so many superb choices…). Then after contacting her immediately upon discovery I was pleasantly surprised at how attentive, responsive and organized she was compared with my experiences researching other calligraphers. Laura was personally very down-to-earth and easy to partner with. I would absolutely recommend her, and call upon her talents again.

Laura Hooper is the best!!!! Ten out of Ten Stars for service, pricing, creativity, and turnaround. My fiance and I searched for weeks and weeks looking for someone to execute the perfect save-the-date and wedding invitations. What we found time and again were the same concepts with pricing that was out of this world. And then one day, we came across Laura Hooper’s site and we quickly discovered someone who could provide a professional level of service with a reasonable price.
