Howdy from L.A.!

Hi Readers,

Like some of the other columnists here on EAD living, I am so excited to be writing for this blog. E and A are my very first blog friends. I “met” them last year through Brooklyn Bride’s card swap.  I was a lucky recipient of one of E’s snowflake ornaments. I have been an avid reader of their blog ever since.  One of these days, we’ll actually get to meet in person;)  Who knows? 2009 may be our year.

My name is Anne, not to be confused with (Rebekah) Anne, one of the co-creators of this blog. To avoid confusion, you can call me Anne K. I am a Virginia gal living in Los Angeles with my husband Rob and our dog Dottie. We like to think of ourselves as a creative family.  I’m a graphic designer/photographer.  Rob is a caterer. Dottie is a fantastic dog model (although not a professional).

Like Feisty Tourist, I started a blog to chronicle my travels.  Unlike Feisty, I found that I was a horrific travel blogger.  I could never log my travels fast enough nor travel often enough to make it worthwhile. I abandoned my blog for several years. Yes, I said years.  I rediscovered the joys of blogs while planning my wedding in 2007.  I was an obsessive blog stalker.  I am ever so thankful to all those blogs for the many ideas and tips I received.  To be a true member of the blogosphere, I started blogging in earnest. I’ve been posting fairly regularly on my blog, Anne K. in L.A.

Now, here I am.  You can look forward to posts about home design, technology, and other wonderful miscellanea.  Although, please don’t look to me for cooking tips and recipes.  I am a terror in the kitchen.
