Decor: Domino’s Book of Decorating

The only reason I hate magazines is that all this great information is found in 30 different issues.  I was extremely happy to see that Domino put out a giant book on decorating.  Exactly what this design/decor inept person needs. ALL IN ONE PLACE!!

I love the small space solutions, as we are living in a very small space.  From curtains to mirrors, I now have a lot of ideas to clean up our cramped space.

The other tips come in extremely handy.  They may be the most basic of design tips, but that’s exactly what I need.  While I cannot say enough good things about it, the book probably isn’t for someone who has experience with interior design.

We have a lot of great pieces, but I have no idea how to style and arrange them.  This book will now be my handbook for our home. I know it will really help me learn more about what works and what doesn’t.

I’m going to go ahead and pretend that Domino isn’t closing its doors.  For someone with no design background and no personal sense of style, this magazine has been a great resource.  I’m hoping the employees and editors find a way to blog or publish on their own.  They are an amazingly talented bunch and I hope to see more of their work!  I’m also going to keep clipping every image I love into Tumblr.
