Darling Dexter’s Outfit A Day Project

Fashion is something we’ve sorely neglected here at EAD.  In fact, we have a mere two posts on the subject.  Pathetic, right?  The main reason is that I am just not a fashion bug.  As I type this, I’m wearing a plain purple t-shirt (old navy) layered with a hot pink tank top (Target), jeans (Gap), and my old faithful Dansko clogs (which I frequently call “Danskins” and then my husband corrects me).  I cannot conceive of shopping at Anthropologie because I am a cheap ass.  I also am trying to buy more world and planet friendly items.  My hair?  Erf.  It’s pulled back in a very short ponytail and my bangs are clipped to the side.  I like being comfortable.  I don’t like spending money (unless it’s on an awesome vacation or great technology).  So what’s a girl to do?

Invite someone who is WAY more fashion forward to blog!  Meet Allison, she’s going to be our EAD Fashion guru for a few weeks.  She owns Thirty One Style here in Birmigham.  She’s got a great sense of style, and knows how to shop from Saks to TJMax.  She has three children, runs her own business and still manages to look fashionable.  We had a chance to meet over tea last weekend, and I know  you’ll really enjoy her “Why Not” approach to life and fashion.
