As you’ve probably guessed, I’m totally a cat person. We have two (we call them Boy and Beanie), and we love them dearly. I’ve lived with cats my whole life, so I’ve always been fascinated by people who incorporate things for their cats into their home decor. Here are a couple of really neat houses that have been designed especially with cats in mind.

Have you considered your companion animals in your decor? We just keep blankets on the corners of the sofas (to discourage further scratching) and have a couple of those cat trees. I think Boy would like a little cat bed, but then I think he might sleep there instead of with me at night. Obviously that’s no good!

I have a cat and a dog and I WISH I had some amazing escapes like this for my cat. This is so wonderful! Its amazing how they incorporated special spaces for the cats and maintained such wonderful design.
