Hi from Amy I.!

Hi friends! I’m Amy I., and I’m so glad to be here.

I started blogging last year to collect all of my random thoughts and activities in one spot.  I’m the kind of girl who flits from hobby to hobby and gets bored pretty easily, but I love blogging because I can document whatever I happen to be playing with at the moment.  Lately it’s been cooking and photography; who knows what I’ll decide to do tomorrow?!

A few key snippets about me:  I’ve lived in California, Nebraska, New York, and Oregon, and my personality is definitely a fusion of traits from each place.  Speaking of mutts, I’m a former dog-o-phobe turned -lover, and my rescue dog Oliver is my constant companion.  I’m in graduate school for social work and want to be a researcher when I grow up.  When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen, you can probably find me poking around all corners of the internet. My husband and I have his-and-hers black and white Macbooks– it’s pretty adorable.  I’m a twitter addict, and I love how blogging has given me the opportunity to connect with people I never would have known otherwise.  Thanks, internet!

I plan to share all kinds of fun things with you, but you can expect my posts to be heavy on the food- and cooking-related content. Who doesn’t love food, really?  A special thanks to E. for inviting me along, and I look forward to getting to know all of you on this new adventure.
