I've read pretty much everything that Nora Roberts has written, and loved it. My sister and I both devour the books. Maybe I've outgrown her style, but this book was my least favorite. It felt forced. I really love her other series though.

I have been eyeballing this book for a bit now and I'm glad to read it was good. I didn't know it was told from a photographer's standpoint so now I'll have to read it!

I also LOVE the "In Death" series as well as almost all of Nora Roberts series. The solo ones tend to be hit and miss for me. I review like mad on Amazon... and love Amazon so thanks for the link to the store!!

Based on your recommendation I went to Books A Million yesterday and ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting! I loved it...it was predictable, but still really good and a great light weekend read! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the rest of the books in the quartet, too. Keep up the awesome book recommendations!

You know I've not liked Nora in the past but this one caught my eye at the bookstore. I'll have to give it a try.

MY fave fave fave chick lit author is Mary Balogh---she writes THE BEST historical romance novels. I go through her books like candy!

I'm a romance novel FIEND and I love the idea of book reviews!

You did in fact pass it along to me and I did in fact read the entire thing on one very long train ride home from NYC. :-)

I actually typically steer very clear of anything romance novel-like. I tend toward big, thick, meaty literature - you know, 1000+ pages that takes you a month to devour. At any rate, I was surprisingly charmed by this one and I'll definitely keep my eyes open for the the next 3, though I doubt I'd buy them, but only because I'm cheap! ;-) I'd LOVE the idea of a book swap of some kind on EADL. How do we make it happen? I'll even help coordinate if you want! xo
