A New Journey

Once upon a time a girl got married in May 2007, moved to a climate that closely resembles Antarctica, supported her husband's grad school decision while she worked full time, moved in above her in-laws, bought a fancy camera, trained for marathons, and snuggled with her disgustingly adorable dog named Henry. And then, she got pregnant and is expecting her first bambino in March 2010. Who said being a newlywed is boring? For more about me, visit My Life In Transition.

You all know my love for Some Ecards, right? Well, this one sums it up nicely because I’m pregnant! (Nate helped but I cringe when people say ‘We’re’ pregnant). If you read my personal blog you already know my big news but I have to share with you EADL gals, as well.

This little guy is in for a big surprise as he’s been an only child for nearly 4 years. Poor baby. Look at him sniffing the test (and yes, it is covered so he wasn’t tarnished by my pee.)

So I have a feeling my posts are going to be a lot more….focused from here on out, dear readers. But my nesting instinct is already in full effect and I have tons of ideas for decorating, saving money, and organizing. Just you wait.

We are so excited to start this journey together, sharing it with you along the way. I hope this doesn’t make me the crazy pregnant lady on EADL….I swear I’ll still be fun. :)

we heart your comments!

  3. How exciting!!!! Congratulations!!

And by the way, I just have to ask – what kind of dog is that??? He looks like our Charlie, who is a mutt, and we’re trying to figure out what he is. So far we think he’s a Llhasa Apso (spelling??) and Poodle mix, maybe.

  4. Thanks, ladies. And Henry is a cockapoo—his dad was a toy poodle and his mom was a Cocker Spaniel. But he does look a lot like a Llhasa-poo I think!
