I wear my engagement ring every day and will only take it off to do activities that could possibly damage it (i.e. major house work, digging in the garden, etc) and my ring has a lot of meaning for the FH and I—his grandmother’s engagement ring side stones were included on my mine as peek-a-boo diamonds and our birthstones are set as side stones. Originally I had want my wedding band to fit with the e-ring also, but nothing will fit the way I want so I’m going to wear mine on my right hand ring finger. That ring, when we get married, I will never take off.

Oh my goodness! I couldn’t believe it when I saw your engagement ring. Mine is identical! I really wanted something antique because I didn’t want a new diamond and rings from the 1920′s are so unique. Since the setting has a lot of height, I do end up catching things with it fairly often. My wedding ring is a very simple thin band and it works perfectly with my engagement ring. I almost always wear them together since I adore my engagement ring so much. I do take it off if I’m doing something messy though.

i used to wear my wedding band every single day, but when i began doing a lot of crafting i stopped. and then i never think put it back on. i (gasp) find it much more comfortable not to wear my ring.

My engagement ring was custom made and the same jeweler made my wedding bands to match (I wear one on each side). I love my rings and wear them every day. I only take them off before I go to sleep since my fingers swell at night. The price of an object doesn’t determine how much I wear it, it is more about the style or comfort. I have plenty of things that I wear all the time that were very inexpensive.

My engagement ring and wedding band are soldered together, as both have diamonds and if they rub they are more apt to fall out. Also, I'm anal and like the diamonds to match up AT ALL TIMES. :) Yes, I wear my set every day. My engagement ring was my great grandmothers. I usually only wear it when I’m dressing up or at church on sunday. It’s really big and the setting sticks out also I am terrified to loose it because it’s such a precious family heirloom. However, my wedding band which we bought for $200 is a really small gold band and I wear that all the time.

I had my engagement ring and wedding band fused together, but even if I hadn't done that I'd wear them both every day. I wear them both because they both have strong sentimental value, and I love the way they look together. I try to wear both my wedding band & engagement ring on a regular basis but find that I prefer to only wear the wedding band. My engagement ring scratches me all the time and I feel bad for not wearing it as often! I think my husband wishes I wore it more often especially since he picked it out and spent the money on it himself. I know he wears his all the time and only takes it off when it might get damaged doing housework. When it came time to spend money on wedding bands, I knew it was going to be a lot of money but we set a budget. For me it was important that we both got rings that were alike and comfortable for both of us because it is important to me that they last forever.
