ever since i heard that this trend is so IN for this fall/winter i knew i HAD to have some. i bought my first pair of black flat faux suede ones yesterday (very affordable) and i just LOVE them. i have heard so many people say that it doesn't look good on women with thicker legs/frames but i'm a thicker built girl and i think these look great on me :) especially worn the california way with sum cut off jean shorts and an over sized button up or tunic. i feel really lucky that the trend hasn't soaked in here yet (i've only seen one girl wearing otk boots so far) i intend to get the grey ones next!

Wow! There is a love/hate thing with these boots! Mine come in tomorrow, so I'm really curious to see what happens. I am just thinking some skinny jeans, a cozy sweater and these boots....of course, I am only 5'5" so this could be a disaster. Will post some pics of what happens!

As a short woman, I'd love to wear them, but I think they're not in the cards for me. I don't need my already short legs to appear shorter. If you can find a pair that fit you, go for it.

I just ordered about 10 pairs from piperlime and zappos and ended up returning nearly all of them. I tried that pair that you ordered in both the brown and black and it just wasn't working for me when I tried them on. I was kind of disapointed. I love boots and I was delighted when I saw over the knee is e a fashion trend because I've always wanted to try them but it looked inappropriate on me with a skirt or dress (it looked rather hookerish) and with jeans it just didn't look right, it definitely shortened the legs a lot and I have long legs! ...the only thing I liked them with was leggings but I felt like that was a bit limiting. I also tried the lucky brand Gwen pair in both the black and brown and I really wanted to keep the brown ones but just felt I couldn't justify the price with how limited I felt my wardrobe options were. http://piperlime.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=50253&vid=1&pid=707738&scid=707738012

I'd love to hear how you fair with the over-the-knee look and what you pair them with!

I've been contemplating a pair myself! I think they're great. Ones with heels are a bit too much for me, but I like the ones you picked!
