I moved to San Diego from Denver about 1 1/2 years ago. Shockingly, my wardrobe didn't change much. When I decided on San Diego, I stocked up on bikinis and shorts and tiny camis. These days, I'm wearing cable knit sweaters, jeans, and wool coats-the same wardrobe I'm sporting as I'm in Denver for Christmas. Either I've become a sissy about the weather or it's all in the state of mind-perhaps my determination to wear coats and hats in December in San Diego make me believe that I need it??

I lived in Boston for 7 years and I *really* miss the boots and the winter coats! There's something very sexy about a pair of boots and a good-looking winter coat. But I'll never wish for the cold, snowy, dreary weather again. No thank you.

NND: We're still not quite sure exactly where we're moving - stay tuned! But Boston would be a fine choice... :-)

A: That reminds me of my New Mexico to Dallas move. So many clogs gathering dust in my closet!

3 years ago My parents moved to Boston after 30 years in San Diego. Talk about a change of wardrobe! They love Boston though. My hubby and I went and visted for a week in October, and I bought so many cute outfits that I've yet to wear in LA. I coudlnt resist all the cute boots and tights! Maybe I'll wear them in January.

That's so awesome that you're moving to Boston. It is SUCH a fun city!

When we moved from Los Angeles to a small city in Oregon 3 years ago, I stopped wearing as much makeup, stopped blowing out my hair every day, and traded in designer jeans and heels for corduroys and sandals. I find that this lifestyle suits my personality much better!
