I did a photo gallery wall of some of my Europe photos and used all black frames of different styles, some with different mats, and made the arrangement so that I could add more photos of the places we visit as we go travel. I really like the look of mixed frames as well, so I plan to make a photo wall of family and friend portraits in silvers, natural/rustic wood frames, and maaaaybe whites. This is incredibly impressive! I’ve wanted to do this – but I’m very intimidated by the whole thing: choosing the frames, how to matt, choosing pictures, how to arrange the frames – super overwhelming!

This is gorgeous! We have a small-ish gallery wall (waiting for some pictures, I hate to admit), but I’m already wanting to re-arrange it because we’ve gotten another couple of frames!! Ugh!
Also, ours is all black frames with white mats, but I wish that we had mixed them up a bit now.
But I still love it – I love how it fills up the wall and tells our story! (well the few pics we do have!)

We JUST hung a gallery wall above our couch this weekend! We went to Goodwill and picked up a bunch of mismatched frames, then spray painted them all white and bought white mats from Michael's. We used black and white pictures in most, but in a few we used brightly colored scrapbook paper. I absolutely love it! .-= Jennelle's most recent blog post: The Shed =-.

We did actually :) I LOOOOVE it. It’s still a work in progress but it already makes our dining room feel more cozy.
