{Surface View} Bold Bedroom Decor

Months ago, I did a blog post called “The well appointed bedroom” on ABCD Design. The image below was part of the post, and well… the headboard is awesome, isn’t it?

Living, etc. via Create Girl

Needless to say it got the most attention, comments and tweets out of any of the bedroom images I posted. Everyone wanted to know “Where does one get such an incredible piece of lace?!” Earlier this week, I stumbled over to Create Girl’s blog where I saw the very same Living, etc. photo – only she sourced and shared how to find this amazing headboard! HOORAH ~ Mystery solved!!

Turns out that it isn’t a giant piece of lace at all. It’s from a UK based company called Surface view. They print historically important images in giant scale onto canvas and onto wallpaper. They’ve got “interior graphics” images that cover topics from the Victoria & Albert Museum, Marvel Comics, the Royal Photographic Collection, and that is just to name a few.
