Add some Springtime cheer

Hi there! I daydream about interior design and color combinations, so subsequently I'm always wanting to redecorate my house (which drives my husband crazy)! I love my husband and our 4 dogs, working in a creative field, a good laugh, and a great margarita. ;-)

This is the time of year to pack up those heavy blankets and put away some of that fall and winter decor.  Spring has arrived, and there are lots of easy ways to spread the cheer throughout your home!

You can change your bedding – use lots of white, and add pops of bright and cheerful color in your pillows, throws or curtains.

And you can do the same in your living room.  Something as simple as adding new and colorful pillow covers can make a huge change!

Couch upholstery looking dark or dirty?  Try using a throw or inexpensive drop cloth as a loose cover for a laid back and casual look.

But don’t just stop at the pillows!  You can change out or add lots of other accessories to brighten your home too.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money, but changing things up around your house can be fun and keep you from getting tired ofyour decor.  Do you have anything you change around in your home for spring?  What says “Spring” to you?

we heart your comments!
  1. That first image is so lovely. What is it about red and white that makes my heart pitter patter?

  2. I love adding fresh little pieces around the house for the changes of seasons- and spring is such a delightful one. And you are definitely right- it can be very inexpensive to bring a bit of spring into a room.
