Seaside Decor

Hi there! I daydream about interior design and color combinations, so subsequently I'm always wanting to redecorate my house (which drives my husband crazy)! I love my husband and our 4 dogs, working in a creative field, a good laugh, and a great margarita. ;-)

If you can’t get to the beach or the lake this summer, you can bring a bit of that style back home.

All you need are some whitewashed walls:

Some stripes, especially on rugs:

Draped canopy beds:

Some beachy and nautical accessories, like rope:

And driftwood:

And maybe a few seashells thrown in for good measure:

Do you like to decorate with a little beachy-style during the warmer months??

  1. Enjoyed the photo’s. I do love fresh beachy style anytime of the year. I just don’t like the hot humid weather – which by the way, all the seashells in the world can’t over come a good old fashion southern heatwave. So give me a cold glass filled with crushed ice and a few limes and I”m happy.
