Yay for the return of Furbaby Friday! So sorry for the delay while I was out of town in Dubai (recap to come next week, promise). This week’s absolutely precious furbaby is Schmoo, baby of Gretchen from Not Enough Devotion. Schmoo is a seven month old beagle/lab mix. Gretchen and her husband rescued him from an animal shelter. Gretchen says: “We picked him out of all of the puppies in the litter because whenever we made eye contact with him, he trotted over to us and tried to climb in our laps. It was so cute!”

Q: What is his favorite toy?
His favorite toy is a red blanket, which he carries all around the house. He has a tendency to completely destroy his toys, but his blanket has lasted him the whole time we’ve had him, even thought he keeps tearing it into smaller and smaller pieces.

Q: Most comfy place to nap?
Schmoo is definitely a dog who loves to nap. He switches the places that he naps, but is usually on the ottoman in front of the window because it lets him be near us and see out into the yard to make sure no one’s invading his territory.

Q: Most yummiest treat?
Schmoo’s favorite treat is peanut butter, which we put in his Kong. He get excited whenever one of us gets the jar of peanut butter out. But Schmoo also likes all kinds of vegetables, including carrots, cucumbers, and celery. He’ll eat it all!
Q: What is Schmoo’s favorite travel destination?
His favorite place to go is grandma’s house, probably because he gets spoiled non-stop. He also likes it because he gets to play with my parent’s dog and my sister’s dogs, whenever she brings them over.

Gretchen thank you for sharing your adorable furbaby with us!
What to have your little one featured on Furbaby Friday? Send an email with furbaby pictures to [living at elizabeth anne designs dot com] with the subject “Furbaby Friday” with your furbaby photos (at least 600px in width please), a couple of sentences about their stinkin’ cute personalities, and answer these questions on their behalf:

3) Favorite place to nap
4) Favorite travel destination (ex: petsmart, grandma’s house, the park, etc)
5) Best trick (or as I like to say “best move” – as in, Charlie’s adorable stretch where he pulls his little wrists up to his face and then pushes his arms down his chest is his best move!)
If you have already sent in your furbabies, don’t worry – I have them all in my email so you will hear from me soon!
