Today’s absolutely precious little furbaby is Auggie!  Auggie’s furmommy’s name is Jill.  I featured Jill’s wedding on EAD awhile ago, and I love seeing how her family has grown!  Jill and Les adopted Auggie from a shelter in July, and of course now they cannot imagine their life without him.  He has epilepsy, but is doing well on medication and is a poster pup for giving a special needs shelter dog a forever home!  Auggie has his own blog if you want to follow along. :)

Q: What is his favorite toy?

Auggie’s favorite toy is his Lion. Lion was given to him as a gift by our good friends the day we adopted him, and he has been carrying it around, sleeping on it, and bringing it to the door as our “Welcome Home!” ever since.

Q: Most comfy place to nap?

AugDog wants to nap where ever his people happen to be. Next to us on the couch, or on the bed, or draped over our legs. He also absolutely LOVES to burrow into a warm pile of fresh laundry.

Q: Most yummiest treat?

He absolutely LOVES cheese. Any kind of cheese. If he hears you pulling a string cheese stick from the pack, he will come running from anywhere in the house and dance around like a wind-up toy until you share with him.

Q: What is Augie’s favorite travel destination?

He loves the car and gets excited to go anywhere we are going. He was a road-trip rockstar on our vacation to Nashville, and he also loves to visit our friend Jackie’s house where he can go exploring.

Q: Best move?

Aug’s best move is his deceptive speed! He may be tiny, but man can he ZOOM! We take him off the leash when we get to our hallway in our apartment building and let him sprint back and forth down the hall, tail wagging furiously all the way.
