I’m a Book Junkie
So there are these people in the world that can minimize their life. They are able to throw memorabilia away without remorse, able to part with clothes that are three sizes too small without thinking “I may one day lose enough weight for those jeans to fit”, and even (gasp) able to part with treasured hardbacks and well-worn paperbacks when they have eagerly torn through the pages in record time to get to the ending.
Not me. I’m a book junkie. Which …

Furbaby Friday: Meet Auggie
Today’s absolutely precious little furbaby is Auggie! Auggie’s furmommy’s name is Jill. I featured Jill’s wedding on EAD awhile ago, and I love seeing how her family has grown! Jill and Les adopted Auggie from a shelter in July, and of course now they cannot imagine their life without him. He has epilepsy, but is doing well on medication and is a poster pup for giving a special needs shelter dog a forever home! Auggie has his own blog if …

Ellie’s Cooking Birthday Party
Stephanie Frazier-Grimm from Newport, RI’s Couture Parties is one of the sweetest people I know, and also one of the most talented. I love showing off her creativity (you may remember her from the adorable Lily Pulitzer tabletop and the Safari Theme Baby Shower), so I’m super excited to share her daughter Ellie’s 4th birthday party with you! Ellie was very involved in choosing the theme for her celebration, and there was no question in her mind as to what she wanted …

Those of you who follow Elizabeth Anne Designs on the wedding side are sure to know that the Inspired Creations Contest is going on right now where wedding vendors are creating awesome DIY ideas on a budget. One of the entries we posted on The Sweetest Occasion, created by Bella Rains Garden Studio and photographed by Lavender & Twine, showcased pretty DIY metallic glitter chargers, which are so easy and would be fabulous for any tabletop or dinner party!
You will need:

Weekend in San Francisco
I’m going a bit out of order here as I have yet to post pictures from my 10th college reunion (TENTH! Sigh, I’m getting old.), which happened between Dubai and San Francisco, but our little jaunt to the left coast over Easter weekend is still fresh on my mind so I thought I’d share a few pics! We mainly went out there because the Braves were playing the Giants that weekend, so we saw games on Saturday and Sunday …

Dubai
We had the best time in Dubai visiting EAD Living’s own Amy I! Amy and her husband have been living there for a few months now, and so I thought what better excuse to visit a new, awesome country than to go visit a friend? So off to went to Dubai, which was somewhere I had wanted to go since I saw that episode of the Amazing Race (anyone else remember that one? Seriously, you won’t go down a water …

Pretty Purple Engagement Party
Happy Monday everyone! We have the cutest DIY engagement party to share with y’all, and it proves that style doesn’t mean a big budget. The floral arrangements were DIY with flowers purchased at a local supermarket. The caterer was a well known chain restaurant, and the invites were from Target. The perfect inspiration as you start planning those summer parties. Hope you enjoy and thanks to Stephanie Hunter Photography for sharing!
The following vendors participated in Lynette and Mark’s Engagement Party:

Charlie and the Bunny
I’m off to San Francisco for the weekend, I’m so excited to see the city for the first time. I hope you have a wonderful holiday – Charlie says Happy Easter!

Kate’s Lollipop Filled Birthday Party
I love each little detail of Kate’s positively adorable first birthday party! Planned by her mom, the ridiculously talented Kelly from A Savvy Event, and photographed by Jessamyn Harris, there are lollipops, balloons, and even a (genius) Build Your Own Sippy Cup Bar. The little ones had their choice of Soy Milk, Regular Milk and Almond Milk, and for the older kids there were “mixers” – strawberry or chocolate to add to their milk! Kate handcrafted everything from the bunting …

Dixie’s Puppy Party
Melissa is a super-talented wedding photographer, and a blog friend of mine. She’s also furmommy to the absolutely precious Dixie, who recently turned the big 4 years old! To celebrate, Melissa threw a fun backyard puppy bash, and Dixie’s friends were treated to yumalicious puppy treats, including a cake from Phoenix bakery Bone Appe’tit. Charlie says he is jealous. And just check out how adorable these little ones are in their party hats. Love!!! Thanks …
