Happy Monday everyone! We have the cutest DIY engagement party to share with y’all, and it proves that style doesn’t mean a big budget. The floral arrangements were DIY with flowers purchased at a local supermarket. The caterer was a well known chain restaurant, and the invites were from Target. I love each little detail of Kate’s positively adorable first birthday party!  Planned by her mom, the ridiculously talented Kelly from A Savvy Event, and photographed by Jessamyn Harris, there are lollipops, balloons, and even a (genius) Build Your Own Sippy Cup Bar.  The little ones had their choice of Soy Milk, Regular Milk and Almond Milk, and for the older kids there were “mixers” – strawberry or chocolate to add to their milk!  Kate handcrafted everything from the bunting …

Melissa is a super-talented wedding photographer, and a blog friend of mine. She’s also furmommy to the absolutely precious Dixie, who recently turned the big 4 years old!
