Philadelphia Photographers

I’ve had so much fun researching all of the fantastic photographers in the Philadelphia area!  There are so many different styles of photography here – I think Philadelphia brides are very well served!

First up, MK Photography.  The photos below are from the wedding of Kirstin and Casey.  Aren’t the sepia tones magnificent?  She looks so elegant and timeless in all of these photos.  Portraiture is so important but many of these shots are candids, making it all the more amazing that Mike is able to capture these moments with as much depth and clarity as he did.  Find more simply gorgeous images on Mike’s blog.

Next up, a couple we’ve featured in many inspiration boards on this site before, the Wiebners.  Not only do we read their blog religiously, we’re just absolutely in love with their modern, colorful images.  The way the colors pop… the posing of their staged shots… I just can’t say enough about how fantastic I think this husband-wife duo are.  Who wouldn’t want one of these awesome pictures for their wall?

Nicole Polk is a fantastic talent that I found via Weddingbee (Mrs. Bell Pepper highly recommends her!).  She seems to have such a wonderful personality (I think you can tell who people really are from their blogs and I like Nicole) and her blog is a great wealth of inspiration for brides-to-be!  And, she’s newly engaged herself.

OK, yes, one of these things is not like the other – but how can you resist that puppy?!?!?  Little Cooper is the second cutest pup in the world after my Charlie.  :)

Mike Landis is another great talent whose photos are a bit romantic and traditional.  I think it’s great that all of their couples seem to be absolutely totally in love.  He captures emotion so well.

There isn’t much to say about my last choice other than WOW.  I’m sure you’ve seen the photography of Marie Labbancz on blogs and in inspiration boards.  Her work is simply gorgeous and if she’s your choice of photographer, you’re a lucky gal.  Seriously.

So yeah, Philly.  You’re in good hands.
