Invites by TearDrop Weddings

We are so excited to announce a fun partnership between EAD and Teardrop Weddings!  Here’s how it works: We’ll design a board and pass it along to Holly.  She will then design a full invitation suite around the board!  We’re so excited about showing this to all of you because it will give you an idea of how an inspiration board can really be the guideline for your entire wedding planning process.

Our first inspiration board and invitation suite comes from one of my very favorite boards ever – our red and peach board!

From this board, Holly designed these adorable invites:

red and peach wedding invitations

Holly says:

Straight away we were attracted to the photo of the peaches, and that is what triggered our creative juices for our first invitation suite. I wanted a very fun and whimsical design, also, something romantic. When I think of red, I instantly think of love and romance. To bring in the element of romance, we illustrated a girl sitting on a tree swing as her hubby lovingly pushes her. They are surrounded by trees, which makes them feel like they are all alone in the world. All around them are peaches, which I’m sure would be the most sweetest smell they have ever come across. We like to tell a story with our invitations, because really, that is what a wedding is…telling the story of a man and woman…the story of how they met, fell in love and are now going to live happily ever after!

So what do you think?  Hopefully this inspires you to create a board for your own wedding and also gives you some ideas on translating your board into reality!
