Theme and variations: Blue inspiration boards!

Thank you to everyone who submitted requests for inspiration boards. Here are the first four, which coincidentally each had bits of blue in them! It was certainly a challenge to differentiate each, but I hope you like them!

For Abbie, who was looking for a kelly green and light blue, “JCrew goes to the rodeo” wedding. I LOVE the idea of the cowboy boots–but why just display them? How about having your bridesmaids each wear a pair, or showcasing your favorite pair under your dress? This is a beautiful, bright, and cheerful palette. I hope you enjoy it!

For Julybug, who was looking for a sapphire blue wedding, with some yellow, for her seaside/backyard, eclectic wedding. I loved the idea of bringing the linen color in too, and pulling in the colors of the beach in a muted, sweet way. The blue glasses on the table are one of my favorite features–they would look absolutely stunning on tables!

For Sarah, who wanted a white, black, and turquoise fling in an old brewery converted to a ballroom. They were looking for aerospace details to bring their professions into their wedding (pilot and aerospace engineer), which is where the propeller would be showcased as a subtle, yet lovely decor piece.

For Megan, who is having a casual wedding with colors of navy blue and gray, accented with yellow and ivory. They also wanted books and mason jars interpreted into the design. The mason jars in the top left are a great DIY project from Design Sponge, and the wedding dress would be beautiful for a January wedding (or for digging through an old bookcase, I suppose!).
