Margi and Scott fell in love skiing in the mountains. Sigh…so dreamy. Their wedding, (appropriately) held at Mt. Hood Organic Farms was a beautiful, colorful event filled with every personalized, handmade detail imaginable! Combining the awe-inspiring views, the beautiful details and decor, and the rockin’ good time captured by FS Photography, I’m truly envious of all of Margi and Scott’s loved ones who were able to share in the celebration! Oh, and I need to visit Oregon ASAP.
Everything from the flower girl dresses to the favors, the cupcakes to the flowers, the guestbook to the garlands, I mean just about everything was done either by the couple or their friends and family. According to the bride and groom, their theme was “friends, family, and community,” and when it all came together it was truly a community effort! It was also important to the couple to minimize their wedding’s impact to the earth so they made most their decorations out of recycled and reused goods and all of the food was local and organic.
Instead of a traditional guest book, the guests signed a pair of old wooden skis that the bride had refurbished from an old outdoor shop.
Are those really the roses from Scott’s proposal?? Wow.
These boots were Margi’s first ever ski boots!
At the end of the day, about 60 of the guests camped out on the campsite across the street and kept the party going all night, while the bride and groom retreated to a small, quaint cabin on the other side of the farm. What a dream!
