The luxurious The St. Regis Dubai was the inspiration for this stunning styled editorial from Olga Che of Save the Date. Selecting a color palette of taupe, ivory, and brass to echo the hotel’s grand staircase and silk-embellished walls, Olga worked with Firenze Florals to create a tablescape with an opulent, elegant feel. Blown glass chargers, a sea of taper candles in a mix of neutral and metallic colors, and a mix of low and high centerpieces with areca palm leaves graced the table, each place setting fitted with a gold palm leaf detail, a nod to the locale. The overall effect is glamorous yet understated, as are the bridal looks styled by MHG Beauty featuring both a classic ballgown and a crystal beaded mermaid gown from Vanila Wedding Boutique. The entire scene is the height of sophistication, and beautifully captured by Enchante Studio!

Elegant Blush Newport Wedding
The majestic coastline of Newport, Rhode Island and the picturesque Castle Hill Inn set the scene for Katie and Sam’s elegant New England wedding. Their vision of stunning ocean views, a wonderland of classic cream and blush flowers, and a stellar band came to life on a warm day in July. After an outdoor ceremony—complete with the couple’s adorable pup Henry in a bow tie and top hat!—and cocktail hour, guests stepped inside a breathtakingly romantic reception tent with a mix of blush, cream, and green arrangements by Greenlion Designs and handwritten notes from the bride and groom at each place setting. Katie is the picture of sophistication in a chic Anne Barge gown, her maids’ blush Amsale frocks the perfect complement. Not a detail was left unfinished, down to the beautiful tiered cake from Confectionery Designs. We are spellbound by every gorgeous image from Erin McGinn Photography!
Elegant Socially Distant Wedding Inspiration
Today’s wedding inspiration comes from the idea that downsizing your guest list and implementing social distancing measures into your big day does not mean that you have to downsize your vision! Magnolia Celebrates shows us ways to elevate your wedding style, such as using smaller, more intimate tables and creating unique tablescapes or place settings for each, using stately plate covers for a plated meal, or displaying a faux wedding cake throughout the event. The team behind today’s post was inspired by the old Spanish architecture of the venue. They incorporated shades of mauve, brick, cappuccino, and sage into the tablescapes, each table getting a unique set of linens and gorgeous florals by Flowers By Yona. So many wonderful ideas from this shoot and these photos by Caroline Willett are sure to give you lots of ideas for your own wedding, whether it will be in the time of social distancing or not!
French Garden Inspiration in Washington
A backdrop of verdant green climbing ivy and dreamy painterly florals would play a muse for any impressionist artist, so it’s no wonder that Indigo Event Design chose the stunning gardens and chateau of Monet Vineyards for this Claude Monet-inspired shoot. BLUE Floral Company created a pastel rainbow of locally-sourced florals to paint the outdoor ceremony space and stunning bouquet that is worthy of Monet’s brush itself. Lush centerpieces of coral and butter yellow peonies, lavender scabiosa, and dusty blush roses sit atop a french blue table, with just the right touch of regal elegance from gold flatware and chargers. Romantic and intimate, these photos by RTFaith Photography prove that even a micro-wedding can be a fairytale wedding too!
Modern Organic Elegance Wedding Inspiration
While the color palette of a fall wedding is often full of bold shades, this neutral and natural inspiration from the lens of The Simmons Photography really caught our eye. Julia and her equally-impressive team of fellow wedding vendors took a brief departure away from the tried-and-true jewel tones and went stark white and toned down for fall. Layers of cream and ivory enhanced the pristine white room and hints of dried florals from Evergreen Flower Co. provided just the right amount of color. This color palette and design would work beautifully throughout all seasons of the year, especially if you incorporated a lively background like a sage green wall! It’s a great pop of color and you know us: we’re all for stand-out details.
Elegant Hunter Green Wedding Inspiration
Any way you spin the color green in a wedding palette, it is quite the versatile shade. From soft pastels like mint or sage to deep hues like the beautiful emerald or hunter green, you can easily use this earthy color at any wedding during any time of the year if you fancy it. It’s so timeless and we’re glad that wedding extraordinaires like Olive Fine Weddings & Events and Alexandra Lee ran on the same wavelength as us. This styled shoot has a hefty helping of green all over it, and if you take out the seemingly wintry elements to this inspo, you can readily use it all throughout the year. The luxe blooms by Willrett Flower Co. (check out the installation framing the sweetheart table!) may need some tweaking when it comes to what’s in season and what’s in your area, but no matter if you’re a spring or summer bride-to-be eyeing this shade of green, you’ll certainly get the same gorgeous effect that Alexandra snapped for us.
Elegant Classical Seattle Wedding Inspiration
Seattle’s gorgeous historical Rainer Chapter House was modeled after George Washington’s Mt. Vernon home in Virginia. It contains a multitude of antique furniture and framed portraits that have the effect of bringing you back in time to the late 18th century, and this shoot photographed by Audrey Norman Photography effortlessly blended the classical venue with current trends. A neutral color palette of champagne, ivory, blush, and gold melded with the ornate interior, and pops of texture created a soft feel, especially when paired with romantic candlelight on the elegant tabletop with a ruched cheesecloth runner. Botanique Flowers styled a warm and inviting centerpiece with warm peach and sage tones, and The Sweet Side designed a cake with square tiers embellished with ivory flowers inspired by the Pronovias gown from Labelle Salon. Every sophisticated detail in the design by Pacific Engagements beautifully mixes classic and contemporary – we are completely smitten!
Light and Airy Romantic Bridal Inspiration
I’d love to close my eyes and transport myself to a world where everything around me was as beautiful as this magical bridal inspiration captured by The Jacksons Photography. Taking inspiration from the gilded accents in the ballroom at The Westin Columbus, Leda of Events Held Dear wanted to play with movement and texture, and mixed pieces of glass, wood, linen, silk, and crystal in her design. From flowing silk fabrics to shimmering taper candles and cozy rugs, each detail was thoughtfully created to evoke a romantic and ethereal feel. Evergreen Flower Co. created arrangements of blush garden roses and greenery with an organic shape, so that the entire finished tabletop looks like one intricately designed centerpiece. The pop of deep blue taper candles was the perfect finishing touch! Each moment from the way the Anna Campbell gown floats across the ballroom floor to the smoke from the tapers as it envelops the table is absolute magic!
Elegant Romance from Aisle Society
I am so excited to share this Elegant Romance inspiration shoot from the our Aisle Society Experience presented by Minted! Our team led by Michelle Elaine Weddings was inspired by timeless elegance and weddings that will be just as lovely in 50 years as they are today. Diana Gould Designs Ltd. transformed an industrial loft space into an elegant wonderland, with a stunning tent, dramatic chandeliers, and a lush centerpiece of greenery and glimmering candles. Elegant mismatched tableware from Borrowed and Blu brought a dash of deep burgundy to each place setting, where we tied the vintage silver with champagne velvet and blush shimmer ribbon from Minted. We loved the unexpected touch of the sheer linens from Nuage Designs set atop a French-inspired mirrored tabletop from Luxe Event Rentals! Mixing metallics is always in style, and a silvery Galia Lahav gown from Bridal Reflections paired perfectly. Doesn’t my dear friend Willow look amazing? MG Hair and Makeup always creates the most stunning bridal looks. The pièce de résistance? Minted’s gorgeous Gilded Wildflowers stationery suite. So thrilled to share some of my favorite images ever from Alexis June Weddings with all of you!
Romance at Belvedere Castle in Central Park
We only have one word for this gorgeous inspiration shoot set in Central Park: swoon! Designed by Michelle Elaine Weddings and featuring the fluffiest, most lovely blooms by Designs By Ahn, the team imagined a beautiful elopement for two at Central Park’s Belvedere Castle, an oasis in the midst of New York’s chaos. Elegant details abound and the theme of lace is echoed throughout from barely-sheer linens by Nuage Designs to a stunning lace gown with full sleeves from Lovely Bride. Adding a modern twist are gorgeous calligraphy invitations from Crafted By Anamarie in bark-brown ink echoing the surroundings. We are spellbound by each image from Stephanie Sunderland!
Elegant Tampa Ballroom Wedding
Elegance and romance were the theme of the day for Kara and Lance’s winter black tie wedding at Tampa’s The Vinoy Renaissance. The couple were married on a gorgeous Florida day at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, one of the most stunning cathedrals in the area. After their traditional ceremony, guests moved to the Vinoy’s Mezzanine for cocktails overlooking the water and a reception in the grand ballroom where amber uplighting created a magical display in the stately hall. Events in Bloom created centerpieces in neutral tones of ivory and soft peach with roses, peonies, ranunculus, and stock. Kara and Lance opted for a sweetheart table, and it was a true centerpiece of the reception, with glimmering sequin linens and an elegant garland centerpiece of roses and eucalyptus. A sophisticated palette of warm metallics carried throughout, from beaded Adrianna Papell bridesmaids dresses to champagne bottle place card holders. Of course, it’s the personal touches that make a wedding special. Guests signed wine corks in lieu of a guest book, and Lance—a baseball player—wore Batman cleats in his Major League debut, and donned a special gift from Kara, monogrammed Batman cuff links. We are absolutely smitten with every detail, from Kara’s lace Girl with a Serious Dream dressing robe to the sparkler exit and vintage Rolls Royce. Prepare to fall in love with every beautiful image captured by Justin DeMutiis Photography!
Wedding Inspiration from Aisle Society
There are some days that are simply perfect, and today is one of those days, because at long last, we are debuting Aisle Society to the world, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the absolutely gorgeous Aisle Society official brand shoot that I styled with Lauren of Every Last Detail and a dream team of Chicago’s best wedding pros at downtown’s most fabulous wedding venue, Chez. Together with the ladies from Estera Events, we set out to create an event that would showcase all of the things that Aisle Society represents: fun, friendship, community, and of course, utterly beautiful wedding inspiration! Dramatic draping from Drape Kings was the centerpiece of the room, swathed along the ceiling and leading to a ceremony altar flanked by simple but show-stopping eucalyptus arrangements from Fleur. In the rest of the details, we bathed the whitewashed space in color! Our gorgeous ladies donned frocks from Bella Bridesmaids and David’s Bridal in shades from blush to dusty blue and flowing Truvelle and Sarah Seven bridal gowns, carrying bouquets of vibrant summer blooms. The modern but elegant tabletop features glimmering sequin linens and rose gold chargers and amazing confetti popper menus from Sarah Drake Design. I’m brimming with excitement for you to watch the video of the day by the insanely talented Nicodem Creative (I dare you not to get goose bumps!) and see every gorgeous image from Alexis June Weddings!
Ethereal Winter Wedding Inspiration
Today’s ethereal winter wedding inspiration from Leighanne Herr is so delicate and lovely, it almost feels as if it descended from a cloud. Working with Sarah of Blomes Paperie, Leighanne drew inspiration from a clear winter’s day, with angelic touches. A neutral color palette allowed for swaths of lush greenery to take center stage, with painterly centerpieces of pampas grass and the palest of blooms created by Blush and Vine. Sarah designed a backdrop of hanging feathers with gilding, its sparkle only matched by the gorgeous ring by Susie Saltzman! We are utterly enchanted by every beautiful image from Leighanne Herr!
Romantic Wedding Inspiration in France
Be still our hearts. This gorgeous set of images by ARTIESE Studios from the Sylvie Gil Workshop in Burgundy have them skipping a beat! Set at Château De Varennes amidst the finest of vineyards, the styling by Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events is all about pure, classic elegance. A palette of the palest of pastels brings out the opulence of the venue, and lush compote arrangements by Holly Flora pair with glimmering taper candles and hand-tied napkins to set the sophisticated table. Claire Pettibone‘s elegant Emanuel gown, with its French lace sleeves and dramatic illusion back, is the ideal gown for the occasion, especially with coupled with a chic Jannie Baltzer headpiece and romantic hair and makeup from Marina Gandrey. We are dreaming of Europe and have completely lost ourselves in the beauty of these images from ARTIESE Studios!
Elegant Hong Kong Wedding
Min and Roy’s Hong Kong wedding is a perfect blend of classic elegance and romance. After a ceremony at the Béthanie Chapel—a beautiful and serene historic building set on a hill overlooking the coastline of Southern Hong Kong—guests traveled to Central’s gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong for a stunning reception planned by White Bridal Salon and designed by Ellermann Flower Boutique & Event Atelier. Tables were bedecked in an abundance of flowers and candles, with a mix of garden roses, ranunculus, lilac, and astilbe in shades of ivory and white with accents of eucalyptus and dusty miller. Antique silver and crystal vessels complete the simple but elegant look. Min is utterly resplendent in a lace Monique Lhuillier gown, and the love between these two is palpable in the gorgeous images from Jada Poon Photography!
Intimate + Timeless Neutral Wedding Inspiration
Be still our hearts. Sara Cangueiro from Hoje é especial designed this ethereal inspiration shoot around the theme “Love is the salt of life”. Her vision of a timeless and romantic wedding was brought to life with a neutral color palette and a stunning setting. Seixas do Minho, Portugal’s Villa Idalina has an almost other-worldly feel, its stately ceilings and paneled walls in the most perfect shade of blue and gold. The gorgeous florals by Hoje é especial added a romantic touch to the intimate table setting for two. Janine is resplendent in a Jesus Peiro Porto gown and gold jewelry from Jewellery for Al, with tousled waves by Pedro Ferreira and soft makeup by Makeup By Bárbara Brandão. A simple cake with sugar laurel leaves from Peace of Cake is delicately placed on a wood console, and taper candles alight the room. We are utterly in love with each frame from Momento Cativo!
Elegant Chicago Wedding at the Drake Hotel
Jessica and Ben’s wedding is quintessentially Chicago. A ceremony at Rush Street’s St. James Chapel gave way to the reception at the Windy City’s iconic Drake Hotel. The Drake’s stunning ballroom doesn’t need much dressing up to be gorgeous, and we love how the couple enhanced the beauty of the room with a color palette of ivory, gold, and a touch of spring green. Florist Anthony Gowder created a mix of low and high arrangements with lush peonies, ranunculus, roses, hydrangea, vibernum, lilies, and blooming branches of spirea. The finishing touch? A classic white wedding cake with gold leaf from Amy Beck Cake Design with a hidden surprise—confetti cake inside! Jessica’s inspiration was simple, timeless elegance, and we couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Enjoy all of the lovely images from the equally-lovely Emilia Jane Photography!
Timeless + Elegant New Orleans Wedding
We are just loving these images of Ashley and Michael’s New Orleans wedding! The historic feel of the city blended with modern touches and classic details is the perfect combination for a stunning affair! We’re amazed at the breathtaking architecture of St. Louis Cathedral, site of the ceremony, as well as the timeless setting of The Roosevelt New Orleans, where the reception was held. “I wanted a classic and romantic feel for the ceremony and reception,” says Ashley. “My vision was lots of creams and whites in the furniture and flowers with lots of candles and mirrored accents. Our florist, Bahara of Plants N’ Petals, did an absolutely amazing job bringing our vision to life!” Sophisticated black bridesmaids dresses from LulaKate are dramatic, especially beside Ashley’s dazzling Rivini gown with a dramatic scalloped skirt! We just can’t get enough of the bridal party’s amazing ensemble! We love the glam accents at the reception, too, from crystal candelabras to a swiss dot cake by The Roosevelt New Orleans and the bride and groom’s classic NOLA ending: a second line with umbrellas! Enjoy these gorgeous images from Greer G Photography!
Elegant Canadian Vineyard Wedding
“I planned my own wedding, as a seasoned wedding planner for Legacy Events and Media, and I loved being very hands on,” says Lara of her wedding to Graham at La Stella, a vineyard in British Columbia. Lara and Graham wanted an elegant yet simple celebration with an Italian estate feel. Using chandeliers, candles, and simple but beautiful blooms by Arlene Fenrich of Edgy Petals, they achieved the perfect romantic look. We love the classic gold flourishes on stationery from Love by Phoebe and lace linens from Upright Decor Rentals + Event Design! Lavender-gray BCBG bridesmaids dresses are trendy but still elegant, especially next to Lara’s breathtaking Enzoani gown from Bisou Bridal. We just love the simple, stunning details in these images from Melissa Gidney and Blush Wedding Photography!
Ivory + Gold Ballroom Wedding
Emily and Dan’s Columbus, Ohio, wedding is impossibly classic and sophisticated, with a dreamy palette of ivory, blush, and gold and dramatic pops of navy. The gorgeous St. Mary’s Catholic Church was host to the catholic ceremony, and the ethereal colors continued at the reception, held in the breathtakingly gorgeous The Westin Columbus. Marble floors and gold details created a fairytale space for Emily and Dan; Emily looked like a princess in a CB Couture lace gown, accented by a stunning vintage veil from Vera’s House of Bridals! Bridesmaids wore long navy dresses by Joielle, but their flowers, like the others, were held to the neutral palette. Flowers on Springtree Lane translated Emily’s vision so that the blooms accented rather than competed with the surroundings. Textured roses on linens by Urquid Linen and the cake by The End Dessert Company were in keeping with the intricate detailing of the décor. We are simply in love with these swoon-worthy images from Two Maries!
Florida’s Bok Tower Gardens Styled Shoot
Tuscan meets tropical at this Bok Tower Gardens wedding inspiration shoot. Located in Lake Whales, Florida, Bok Tower Gardens boasts historic landmarks and treasured architecture, secluded in lush gardens. Acres of ferns, palms, oak and pine trees and flowering foliage provide a serene and naturally beautiful setting that allows for the tile mosaics, sculptures, carvings and custom ironwork of Bok Tower to stand out for its own beauty. The vision of this wedding inspiration shoot was understated elegance. From the natural vibe of the paper goods crafted by Love Offering, to the palette of neutrals and dainty touches of gold, the entire design was dreamt up to exist in harmony with the serene setting rather than compete with it for attention.
