Real Weddings: Robin + Andrew 5.25.2008

We have all been so fortunate over the past year to follow Robin’s journey to the altar on her blog, Chitown Bride.  So we are absolutely *thrilled* to showcase her beautiful wedding and the photography by Studio This Is on Elizabeth Anne Designs!

Robin and Andrew were married at Meyer’s Castle in Dyer, IN.  There were actually three stars of this show though!  The peacocks, apparently abundant at Meyer’s Castle, decided to make many many appearances (read Robin’s hilarious peacock account here).

Robin was absolutely radiant in her Jim Hjelm gown.

The bridesmaids also wore Jim Hjelm in chocolate brown.  The pink of the bouquets pops so well!

Studio This Is captured some beautiful portraits of Robin and Andrew throughout the day:

I’m in awe of the beautiful reception tent at Meyer’s Castle.  The hanging gold spheres are so dreamy and complemented Robin’s color scheme so well!

Robin spent a great deal of time making sure that every detail of the wedding was planned and executed to perfection.  Her monogram, designed by Swish Designs, was wonderfully used.  The polaroid guestbook, designed by Paperlust, was a unique and fun way for her guests to preserve their memories of the day!  The wine cork escort cards were created by Wine Knot Cork It.

Finally, last but not least, a few more pictures of those peacocks (oh, and the bride!).

Robin, it has been such a pleasure to watch this all come together and see the beautiful result.  Brides, you must must must check out Robin’s blog to read about all of her DIY and planning adventures!
