Introducing LeeAnn

My name is LeeAnn and I’m a newlywed. I feel as if I’m a part of an anonymous online addiction meeting. I know this should not be taken lightly. But, I am addicted to all things wedding related. There, I said it!

Geoff and I were married August 2, 2008 at the Ayres Hotel in Manhattan Beach, California. It has been more than two months and I can’t stop reading wedding blogs!

It seems these days more and more brides are planning from a far and I was one of them. I planned my wedding in less than seven months from out of state. From the very first stages of planning I knew I wanted to have a cozy yet elegant affair. I like simple colors and clean lines. But I’m also a “girly girl” and love all things flowers, crystals, ribbons and lace. The term “Shabby Chic” kept popping up and I knew that was the direction I wanted to take.

I’m a firm believer that you are only as good as your team mates. And in order for me to attain this “vision” I had to hire talented vendors that would execute my ideas. I named them my very own personal “Dream Team.” This week I’ll introduce you to a few of my very favorite vendors, three of which will be blogging on behalf of my wedding. If you don’t know them already, you should get to know them!

You will also see all the eye candy my three photographers can provide: Jason Q Tran, Jonilyn Brown and Natalie Williams. Yes, we hired three photographers! More on that later!

I like to consider myself a relatively private person. The reason why I agreed to be a guest blogger was because I learned so much from previous brides and was inspired by so many great ideas online. I thought I could pay it forward and hopefully inspire some bride out there.
