DIY Entry #35: Programs

Youn designed ceremony programs to go with her beautiful [intlink id=”4296″ type=”post”]favor boxes[/intlink] and [intlink id=”4163″ type=”post”]thank you notes[/intlink].

Instructions from Youn:

I started with these pre-cut program backings from Paper-Source, cotton paper, and some sheets of lilac vellum. Then I printed the paper pages on my laser printer using a great calligraphy-esque font from Veer called “Memoir”. After printing I just measured and trimmed the pages.

I used a corner cutter/embosser (the same one I used for the favor box tags) to cut the corners of the last page.

Just like for the other projects I punched 1 inch discs from paper and paper doily. I glued the doily disc onto some of the paper ones with a glue stick.

I put the pages in order with the lilac vellum on top and punched holes through all of the sheets so they lined up with the ones already on the card stock backing. I threaded satin ribbon through the holes and attached the paper discs before I tied the knot and trimmed the ends.

Finally, I stamped the bottom of the vellum top sheet with white pigment ink.
