I’m just in love with every single thing about Joanne and Dan’s Detroit wedding, especially the photos from the fabulous Jessica Johnston. The ceremony and reception were held at the Max M. Fisher Music Center at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Blossoms did an unbelievable job with all of the floral – this bouquet is just to die for!
Having your wedding at a venue set up for performances has some advantages, not the least of which is built-in lighting control. Combine spotlighting with an orchestra stage lined with pillar candles and the overall result is breathtaking!
Portrait time! Love the classic black strapless bridesmaids gowns.
Joanne’s dress was custom-made by Marcia Poshadlo using fabric from Haberman’s Fabrics.
The reception, held in the Music Box room, was chock-full of beautiful details. Tables were decorated with centerpieces in varying heights – either tall tulip centerpices…
… or shorter hydrangea centerpieces.
Chandeliers and draped fabric lined the ceiling and created a dramatic effect.
Lovely cake from Zingerman’s…
Favorite… this shot is just perfection.
Jessica, thank you so much for sharing Joanne and Dan’s gorgeous wedding with EAD. More stunning photos can be found at Jessica’s blog!
