Our Nebraska Wedding: Our beautiful flowers!

After our little trip to Memorial Stadium it was finally time to head out to Country Pines.

Once we got out there I spent a good 10mins just walking around and checking out the amazing job my Aunts did in setting all the decor up.  Seriously…everything looked above and beyond what I had envisioned…I’ll show you all the decor/detail goodness in another post…promise!

We had planned to take all our family portraits before the ceremony so that we would have plenty of time to enjoy our cocktail hour post-ceremony.  After we finished with those shots we snapped a few more pics with the wedding party.

Of course me and my ladies had to get some pics too!

A closer look at our beautiful flowers:

As you can see each of the bridesmaids bouquets were made up of a different flower represented in my bouquet…except for the tulips!  Any time that Lance gives me flowers…they are always tulips…so obviously we had to include those in my bouquet!  I would have LOVED to have them all over the reception as well…sadly they were not in season….aka not cheap ;)

I really loved how my bouquet turned out!  You can’t see it, but wrapped under the burlap was one of my late Grandmother’s hankies!  It was trimmed in blue…making it my something old AND my something blue!  The guys’ boutonnieres were made up of lavender and green button mums tied with twine.

Pretty sharp huh?

Up next…the guests begin to arrive and we get this show on the road!
