It’s such a refreshing color and it can take on so many distinct personalities depending on how you weave it throughout your day. Here it’s ladylike and elegant, with a certain timeless appeal. Paired with green and just the softest whisper of blue, I’m in love with everything yellow.

Elegant Tuscan Wedding Inspiration
Red, if used properly, is one of my favorite wedding colors. When I spotted this wedding on Once Wed, I knew I had to build an inspiration board around that gorgeous dress and the concept of an elegant wedding inspired by the Italian countryside. Poppy red, soft mint green, and natural, leafy elements work together to bring Tuscany to your doorstep – perfect for your destination (or destination-inspired!) wedding!
A “Fruitful” Affair
After getting engaged I suddenly realized that I was completely out of my element. I did not have a clue about how to pull off a budget friendly wedding let alone what the vision of our wedding should look like. I quickly discovered hundreds of amazing wedding blogs (like EAD), photographers, and other online resources all full of amazing wedding details and inspirations.
Classic White and Green Destination Wedding for Denver Couple
When you fall in love with your wedding venue, you just know, no matter what your plans originally were. Amanda and Vlad planned for a Colorado wedding, but they never knew what hit them as they stepped foot onto Bella Collina’s stunning grounds in Florida. Reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside, it was love at first sight for the duo and it just jived so well with their romantic wedding vision that we get to fawn over thanks to Kristen Weaver Photography‘s epic photos. The white florals and greenery by Lee James Floral looked resplendent against the venue’s landscape, but no matter how glorious the blooms looked, it just couldn’t compare to Amanda and Vlad looking like a million bucks. They stole the show, for sure!
Heirloom and Grace Wedding Inspiration
The Pennard House is nestled in the quaint county of Somerset, England, and setting eyes upon the grounds gives the feeling that you are transported to another time. The ladies of Wedding Creations UK and Bowtie and Belle Photography created this gorgeous inspiration shoot based upon Italian heritage, with authentic elements and traditions. The intimate table set for eight is dressed with a stunning Italian hand-crocheted vintage table linen, and Italian crystal, olive leaf, and Limoncello. Loose greenery centerpieces from Bride and Bloom keep the overall feel casual but welcoming. An elegant, vintage-inspired Sienna Von Hildemar gown and a soft updo and natural makeup styled by Charlotte Tillyer complete a bridal look as graceful and enchanting as the scene itself. We are completely smitten with each vignette (that yellow Vespa!) and the stunning images by Bowtie and Belle Photography!
Georgia Garden Wedding
Ansley and Cory dreamed of a whimsical garden wedding, and their hopes were realized with the selection of Newnan, Georgia’s spectacular Dunaway Gardens as their venue. The ivy-covered amphitheater provides the most unique ceremony locale—the perfect pairing of a secret garden nestled amongst the trees and a tiered ceremony in the round! The couple worked with Chancey Charm to design their late summer soiree, with a warm color palette of gray, yellow, maroon, and pops of vivid red. Logan Woods created colorful bouquets of protea, chrysanthemum, tulips, and garden roses and decorated the reception tent with whimsical basket chandeliers and loose garden-style arrangements. Ansley is the epitome of the classic bride in a Lian Carlo gown from Kelly’s Closet, while her maids donned the Aiden dress by Jenny Yoo. We’re transported to a whimsical wonderland with these images from Amy Arrington Photography!

Be still our hearts. This gorgeous set of images by ARTIESE Studios from the Sylvie Gil Workshop in Burgundy have them skipping a beat! Set at Château De Varennes amidst the finest of vineyards, the styling by Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events is all about pure, classic elegance. A palette of the palest of pastels brings out the opulence of the venue, and lush compote arrangements by Holly Flora pair with glimmering taper candles and hand-tied napkins to set the sophisticated table. Claire Pettibone‘s elegant Emanuel gown, with its French lace sleeves and dramatic illusion back, is the ideal gown for the occasion, especially with coupled with a chic Jannie Baltzer headpiece and romantic hair and makeup from Marina Gandrey. We are dreaming of Europe and have completely lost ourselves in the beauty of these images from ARTIESE Studios!
Colorful Aspen Winter Wedding
Roaring Fork Club is a perfect backdrop for Colorado’s mix of rustic elegance, and Alix and Fabrizio worked with the dream team of Stephanie of Lalé Floral Design and Virginia of Bluebird Productions to bring their vision to life. A late March date brought warmer weather to the ski slopes, and a perfect opportunity for the couple to introduce their guests to their new hometown. After a simple but meaningful ceremony, guests were ushered into the lodge, where they were greeted with arrangements befitting the changing seasons: deep fuchsia blooms with pops of marigold, luscious greenery, and pomegranates at each place setting. But our favorite detail has to be the incredible, colorful bouquet! We adore each of the beautiful images from Alison Vagnini!
Aspen Fall Wedding
Courtney and Shawn’s wedding at The Little Nell is pure Colorado magic. Though it snowed the next day, their September wedding could not have fallen on a more gorgeous, sunny day. The couple chose bright fall colors to pop against the lush green mountains and worked with the wonderful Lauryl Lane and Virginia of Bluebird Productions to create a beautiful, warm setting amongst the pines and in the dramatic ballroom. Centerpieces of aspen trees and an assortment of fall blooms (loving those orange tulips!) graced the tables and brought the fall foliage indoors. We adore the laid-back Colorado elegance in the stunning images from James Christianson!
Romantic Colorado Wedding
Romantic and classic, with a bit of vintage flair (oh how we love the BHLDN booties and Allure Bridal gown), Karen and Corey’s wedding at Colorado’s historic Stanley Hotel is the perfect early-autumn soiree! Elegant compote-style arrangements by The European Flower Shop set the stage, beautiful hand-tied bouquets and centerpieces with seasonal berries and pale yellow blooms. The couple set out to create an intimate and personal event (their siblings were the honor attendants), and wove a polaroid theme throughout the day. They selected favorite photos to make into polaroids for innovative escort cards and table numbers. We simply adore the beautiful images from Rachel Havel Photography!
Romantic + Feminine Garden Wedding
Peach, coral and pink—the most romantic of palettes, and one that we absolutely adore. Thomas and Jessica’s Salt Lake City garden wedding is a lovely affair, set at the historic Memorial House, with a gown you are absolutely going to fall head over heels for! Jessica is an absolute princess in Augusta Jones, with fluffy fuchsia flowers from Urban Chateau Floral in her hair and bouquet. The ballroom at the Memorial House was beautifully transformed by the talented Michelle Leo Events, and the pièce de résistance is the fresh and fun yellow cake from One Sweet Slice. We simply love each and every image from Jacque Lynn Photography!
Simple + Chic Backyard Wedding
We adore the relaxed, casual vibe of Meredith and Graham’s summer backyard wedding! With a ceremony at the intimate Smithfield Church and a reception held at Graham’s family’s New York country home just one street away, these two brought all of the comforts of home into their celebration. Meredith is radiant in a demure Lela Rose gown, and we love that although she wore a chic chignon for the ceremony, she let her hair down (literally and figuratively) for the outdoor reception! Bridesmaids in simple white dresses, simple centerpieces of daisies and greenery topiaries, and pretty runners with pops of blue complement the garden setting under the tent. After a family style dinner by , guests danced the night away to John Ragusa Music. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful images from Charlie Juliet!
Eclectic + Natural Dinner Party Ideas
We just love a pretty party, and this colorful and eclectic display styled by Beehive Events had us at hello! The elegant palette of mauve, purple, silver, and green unexpectedly yet perfectly matched the Asian-inspired touches such as an oriental rug, cherry blossoms, and scroll art. Printed china and sequin linens add a whimsical feel, as do delicate orchids at each place setting. A party isn’t a party without cocktails, and A. Pimento Catering staged a fabulous cocktail bar with refreshing beverages of citrus, ginger, and mint. We would love to be a guest at this soiree, but will have to settle instead for oohing and aahing over the gorgeous images from Jen Fariello Photography!
Modern + Sophisticated Chicago Wedding
We are loving the sophisticated touches in Denis and Roxane’s wedding at Chicago’s Ivy Room! The sleek space is a perfect blank slate, and the couple worked with LK Events to create an elegant and modern setting. Hydrangeas in the fresh palette of day—ivory and spring green—set atop the tables and ceremony aisle markers, and hints of chevron added a bit of playfulness to the scene. After dancing the night away on the floor to Colby Bassera and The Party Faithful, Roxane and Denis tucked into a perfectly petite butter yellow cake from Table 52. Enjoy these images from the always fabulous team at Averyhouse, who captured the day to perfection!
Chic London Engagement Session
To combat Olivia and Stefano’s longing for their summertime wedding in Italy, Lindsay Madden led the couple on an adventurous engagement shoot around West London, inspired by the Italian lifestyle. Besides making pasta and riding a vintage Vespa, Olivia and Stefano explored London’s infamous Portobello Road and the eclectic shop Phoenix on Golborne. Chic Weddings helped the couple style these images, which included romantic gowns by Jane Bourvis and fabulous headpieces, including a pheasant feather fascinator by Sarah Day and a lace headwrap from Lacielle Roselle. Stefano is dapper and sophisticated in an Armani suit and tie. Says Olivia of this gorgeous engagement shoot, “The best way to wait for our big day, and to share with the world the fun we are having while organizing it, was through this styled shoot that stereotyped the traditional Italian activities of playing cards, making pasta, riding a Vespa, eating gelato, and drinking Aperol.”
