Bride Emily describes her and husband Dave’s wedding as classically elegant with a hint of nautical, and that could not be more spot on! Held in Hartland, Wisconsin, in Lake Country, the couple’s ceremony at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church was graced with beautiful white flowers from Belle Fiori and bridesmaids dressed in short navy LulaKate dresses, a nod to the waterfront locale. We adore Emily’s simple but sophisticated Jenny Lee gown from Ultimate Bride, especially paired with glam silver metallic Enzo Angiolini heels. For the reception at The Legend at Bristlecone country club, more chic, classic florals and details like place cards in wine corks make this an event that will stand the test of time. Oh how we love romance and elegance in a classic setting! Katelin Gallagher of Project Wedding worked with photographer Erich McVey to bring us this stunning collaboration at Historic Deepwood Estate in Salem, Oregon, where the beautiful Lazaro gowns take our breath away. A draped sheet featuring oversize calligraphy by Neither Snow is a gorgeous backdrop for outdoor vows, where bold blooms and berries by Petalos pop against the lush greenery. We love the attention to detail, too—from the velvet Midori ribbon wrapping the bouquet to the fabulous marble cake from Peter Corvallis Productions. We couldn’t think of any better way to start out a week than this positively gorgeous inspiration shoot from Easton Events and Jose Villa! Inspired by the old world allure of their Charleston setting, Fenwick Hall, the elegant tabletop was set beneath the canopy of a stunning oak tree with dripping Spanish moss. Soft blush and champagne flowers by Southern Blooms by Pat’s Floral Design set atop a beautiful table with fine heirloom china, perfectly polished silver, and flowing linens. An oriental rug and classic calligraphy invitations completed the picturesque scene. We are utterly in love with each and every detail, especially the perfect blush Carol Hannah gown! Stop it—we almost can’t handle these incredible, romantic, vintage-style lace Claire Pettibone gowns! They silhouettes keep the yesteryear feel of the gowns modern. Antique jewelry and vintage teacups in the setting of Everthine Bridal Boutique in Madison, Connecticut, just adds to the romantic vibe of this whole shoot, photographed by Michelle Gardella Photography. Jennie Fresa of Jennie Fresa Makeup and Skincare Boutiquerie, Emily Reale of Beaucage, and Chelsea McNamara of Everthine Bridal Boutique worked together to transform the gorgeous models into Victorian-looking perfection! This shoot from Brushfire Photography is all about bohemian desert elegance! Inspired by a rain dance in the desert, the rustic theme of these images is softened with the loose wildflower arrangements from Sarah’s Garden, flickering candles, and strands of white lights. Blue linens, plates, and glasses incorporate a watery element that we love! The bride’s Peppermint Pretty gown is stunning against the Arizona desert backdrop, and we adore her casual updo. Did you see the upside down umbrella chandelier? So romantic!

There are lots of things that make our hearts skip a beat: pastoral outdoor settings, gorgeous gauzy gowns, earthy and elegant flowers, to name a few. Well, this rustic but glamorous inspiration shoot from Katie Stoops Photography has all three and then some! Shindig Weddings & Events set up the stylish scene on the grounds of Belle Haven on the James in Scottsville, Virginia. The gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown—a flattering corset style—is such a pretty formal contrast to the lush, casual wildflower blooms by Pat’s Floral Designs. And that ruffled cake dripping with blackberries and cherries? Shut the barn door—Paradox Pastry outdid themselves! Go ahead and steal some ideas from this stunning scene!

Event stylist Shi Shi Events shows “that holiday coziness can coexist” with the ultra-glamorous color palette of black, white and gold in this New Year’s Eve-inspired shoot, photographed by the ever-talented Arielle Doneson. Models look stunning in a short-sleeved lace bridal gown and ruffled Alfred Sung dress with bow accent—but we’ve really fallen for the bit of Ivy & Aster sparkle on the bride’s head. Plantscaping kept all-white flower arrangements light and fluffy, and the centerpieces really popped against shimmering sequin linens. Oh—but the desserts! A three-tier chevron confection from Cake Couture is served beside equally-delectable macaroons, cream puffs and cocktails by Luna Bakery Cafe that are sure to keep you warm on a cold winter’s night! We’re off to celebrate the New Year with champagne while you soak up the gorgeousness below!

We want to click our heels, open our eyes, and be right in the middle of this woodsy, fall-inspired shoot in the mountains of Utah! RAE Portraits and Etre Photography collaborated to produce this “organic, lovely, romantic” setting—including designing that amazing cap-sleeve lace wedding gown with its scene-stealing black bow! Earthy blue and purple berries lent texture and warm color to the tablescape and floral arrangements—crafted by the talented Kortney Dowell of Kortney Cooper Dowell—and also inspired the groom’s jewel-toned velvet blazer. Our mouths are watering over those adorable jam favors, as well as these delicious photos!

Tory Williams Photography shot the images of this Southwestern-inspired set-up in a wooded area of the Bedford Post Inn in New York. Using authentic clay pots brought back from Santa Fe, Bess of Celadon & Celery Events styled the tablescape, adding orange-red orchids, turquoise accents, and plenty of rustic elements like antlers and feathers. The models are radiant in the afternoon sunlight—and though the New Mexico feel of the photos is casual and not formal, it’s still fun to see the bride’s playful blue shoes peeking out from beneath a dressy gown. We absolutely love the take on the theme with the cake from Sugar Flower Cake Shop—so different and pretty. We’re definitely taking notes from this one!

Valentine’s Day celebrations don’t always have to be filled with red hearts and streamers. This full-of-love and incredibly sweet shoot styled by Belovely Events uses vintage furniture and clothing and natural elements instead! Love love love the gorgeous furniture from Maggpie Vintage Rentals and the hanging flower garlands! Although we don’t feature a ton of engagement shoots, this one was way too cute not to share! Tauren and Chris’ shoot was designed to show the seasons of their relationship and to ask their loved ones to join them in the next season of their lives. How sweet is that? They sipped lattes outside for the fall, snuggled up for a snowy Christmas inside, shared a colorful spring picnic, and ran around on the beach for summer. Such a cute idea with beautiful photos from Bethany Belle!

Shannon’s bridal portrait session from Christina Carroll Photography is full of shabby chic amazingness. It was taken at The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell, a super cute bed and breakfast between Austin and Houston that is a perfect mix of rustic and romantic. I’m absolutely in love with Shannon’s gown, originally by Allure Couture and then deconstructed/reconstructed by the bride herself! And how beyond gorgeous is Shannon?  Beautiful, shabby chic bridal portraits with fabulous antique details. Enjoy!

Just in time for the 4th of July, we have an classic and adorable summer engagement shoot from Love Life Studios and styled by The Stylish Soiree. I love all the patriotic details from the tablescape to the bride’s oversized sunglasses to the mini red, white, and blue pinwheels. Check out the flowers too, don’t the blue thistle kinda look like fireworks? This laid-back shoot absolutely gets me in the mood for a big slice of peach pie and an ice cold soda. Happy 4th of July everyone!

Tori and Jon’s Milwaukee wedding is nothing short of fabulous. Tori says “once we saw the Grain Exchange there was no question that it fit perfectly!” and we couldn’t agree more. This spectacular venue is equal parts elegant and glamorous. and Evenement Planning created a beautiful ambiance with a color palette of gold, dusty blue, peach, gold, and pinks. Every detail from the cocktail hour to the late night snacks was accounted for! Sparkling sequin linens and tall centerpieces by Impressions by Esther graced the tables, and a custom bar by Barlotta’s added a finishing touch. Each moment is beautifully captured by the incredible Kelsy and Butch of The McCartneys Photography!

A sensuous, feminine feel meets couture fashion in this spectacular fine art shoot inspired by Marie Antoinette from Lisa Blume Photography. Though you may think we’re transported to Paris, instead we’re in the heart of Washington DC at the Anderson House. This 50-room mansion is truly fit for a queen, and La Fleur du Jour used gold accents, lush florals, lavish desserts, and an abundance of accessories to enhance the setting’s European flair. Details such as an intricate antique ring box, vintage-inspired shoes, feathers, and lace transport you to another era, a time of decadent fashion and extravagant living. The stunning Cari Funkhouser dons couture gowns from Elie Saab, See by Chloe, and Modern Trousseau, and truly embodies the spirit of the ill-fated queen. And of course, there is cake. Fair warning: you may need to pick your jaw up off the floor after laying eyes on the exquisite images from Lisa Blume Photography!

The lovely Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum brings a Tuscan flair to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and inspired by the beauty of the setting, Mint and Lovely Studios, Elizabeth Nord Photography and Shaunae Teske Photography created a graceful and elegant inspiration shoot befitting the locale. A spectacular hand-lettered ceremony backdrop from Shelby Made It is flanked by romantic taper candles and a garland of wheat designed by Ebb & Flow Flowers, and the floral choices carried through to both bouquet and tabletop, with classic greens, terra cotta pots, and wheat-inspired bouquets. Unique and whimsical details abound, from the delicious (and gorgeous) mauve and peach macaron tower from Almond & Ivy to Wisconsin-shaped invitations by Mint and Lovely. An elegant gown from Chicago designer Alyssa Kristin completed the scene. We are head over heels for every beautiful moment!

It’s not often I get to share a party that I was not only lucky enough to style, but also lucky enough to attend! So naturally, I’m especially excited to share today’s dinner party on the beach. The celebration? My lovely friend Jenna of That Wife‘s 30th birthday! The setting? One of the most picturesque places in the Bay Area, the Carmel City Beach. We set out to create a celebration with florals that complemented the natural seaside landscape, a healthy dose of metallics, and a bit of a Middle Eastern flair. We had such fun choosing flowers from the wholesale market and arranging them in a mismatched vessels that we collected from Home Goods and local thrift stores. Gorgeous pale green and copper chargers, rose gold flatware, and Moscow mule mugs set the table, which was completed with wooden bench seating, all from Classic Party Rentals. Sand-colored linens and a patterned runner from Napa Valley Linens echoed the beach setting. Pretty pops of Jenna’s favorite color, kelly green, were peppered throughout, including on the gorgeous calligraphy place cards from JM Paper & Ink and serving trays from Anthropologie. We all had the best time getting glammed up by Dolce Vita Beauty and putting on our pretty frocks for a fabulous party, which concluded with blankets and a bonfire on the beach. It’s so wonderful to relive these wonderful memories in the beautiful images from Majesta Patterson!

Jessica and Patrick’s wedding is filled with personal touches, love, and laughter. The couple met while in college at Notre Dame and though life took them in different directions for a time, were reunited at a football game in 2010. As it is central to their love story, their alma mater became an inspiration for their Milwaukee wedding. Their color palette of navy and gold gives a nod to school colors, with blush added in for romance and whimsy, and the open lawn of their reception venue, Lake Park Bistro, played host to several matches of bags on a custom cornhole board. Belle Fiori created loose and romantic florals in a mix of blush and white which were set atop long, wooden farmhouse tables from A La Crate. Flowing ribbons graced the ladies’ bouquets. Jessica is an absolute vision in a mermaid Monique Lhuillier gown and blusher veil.
