Cici and Henry’s ethereal wedding is every bit as stunning as its setting, the spectacular mountains of Chamonix, France. Cici, a fashion designer, designed her own dress as well as her bridesmaids, and both are absolutely gorgeous. The billowy chiffon gowns, Cici’s sophisticated lace veil, and her bridesmaids’ baby’s breath crowns are all so lovely, and the snow-capped mountains, picturesque chapel, and countryside setting of Restaurant Cabane add to the sweet simplicity of their elegant and personal day. Each thoughtful detail was captured beautifully by Alexander James—see all of the gorgeous images in the gallery!

Classic White and Green Destination Wedding for Denver Couple
When you fall in love with your wedding venue, you just know, no matter what your plans originally were. Amanda and Vlad planned for a Colorado wedding, but they never knew what hit them as they stepped foot onto Bella Collina’s stunning grounds in Florida. Reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside, it was love at first sight for the duo and it just jived so well with their romantic wedding vision that we get to fawn over thanks to Kristen Weaver Photography‘s epic photos. The white florals and greenery by Lee James Floral looked resplendent against the venue’s landscape, but no matter how glorious the blooms looked, it just couldn’t compare to Amanda and Vlad looking like a million bucks. They stole the show, for sure!
Elegant + Rustic Charleston Wedding
The sweeping oak trees of Charleston’s Boone Hall Plantation were the perfect setting for Ashley and Dana’s wedding. Rustic glamour at its finest, A Charleston Bride utterly transformed the Cotton Dock with billowing swaths of sheer fabric, elegant chandeliers, fluffy flowers, and glittering candlelight, and a chic, modern cake from Delicious Desserts set atop a unique rustic cake stand. Our favorite detail from this true Southern soiree? In a nod to the Lowcountry location, bags of grits were handstamped as favors. We simply love these beautiful images from Virgil Bunao!
Romantic Maui Destination Wedding
We love destination weddings, and what better place to celebrate with your nearest and dearest than the gorgeous island of Maui? The elegant Haiku Mill was home to Jenn and Chris’ dream wedding. The couple enjoyed a week on the island with family and friends, touring their favorite places and enjoying their favorite activities (including a secret hike through a bamboo forest!). Jenn is positively radiant in her Jim Hjelm ballgown—oh how we love her beachy-chic wavy locks! Haiku Mill is a stunning venue, and florals from Dellables accented the natural beauty of the surroundings. Enjoy all of these fabulous images from Tamiz Photography!
Romantic + Rustic Plantation Wedding
Ahh, what a breath of fresh air Tiffany and Jason’s whimsical wedding affair is! We’re taken aback by these stunning images from Ashley Seawell Photography—vintage touches, candlelight, rustic elegance, and lush white blooms from Emily Wynn Wildes Floral Design create a sophisticated simplicity that we’re loving. For the outdoor ceremony at Cypress Bay Plantation in Varnville, South Carolina, Tiffany wore her sister’s gown and held the hands of her children instead of carrying a traditional bouquet. The cross at the altar, draped in a greenery garland, is a family heirloom built by Emily’s stepfather. Post-ceremony, Tiffany and Jason’s fathers opened the barn doors behind them to reveal an amazing reception setup by Ashley Rhodes Event Design. Cozy tables set with burlap, lace, and mercury glass accents held beautiful white flowers that glowed in the candlelight. We love the burlap and lace runner across the table that holds a two-tier dessert from Tara Hayes Cakes. Everything about this day is perfection!
Whimsical + Vintage Chicago Wedding
You know when two wedding photographers are getting married, it’s bound to be spectacular! And such is Sarah and Matt‘s magical affair at Salvage One. The industrial, whimsical locale was perfect for pastel florals from Fleur, romantic candlelight, and vintage decor from BHLDN. We adore their invites, elegant but fun with silhouettes, from Love vs. Design. Sarah said no to traditional bridesmaids and matching dresses, and instead focused on a gorgeous classic gown from J.Crew for herself paired with glittery Kate Spade shoes. Special touches at the event, coordinated by Liven It Up Events, included desserts from Molly’s Cupcakes, mini burgers from The Slide Ride food truck, and custom cloth napkins by Dot & Army. We’re swooning over the amazing images by Pen / Carlson and we know you’ll agree that it’s one of our favorites of 2013!
Snowy Lake Tahoe Wedding
For their Lake Tahoe nuptials, Kristi and Don really wanted one last snowfall to hit the ground, so they spent the wedding day eve wishing and hoping for nature to cooperate. “It snowed heavily the night before and cleared up the afternoon of the wedding, which made it perfect for an outside celebration under the trees!” says Kristi. Chic gray bridesmaids dresses from Priscilla of Boston were an elegant complement to Kristi’s Rivini gown. Art in Bloom Floral Wedding Designs created white, peach, and green bouquets and reception arrangements that reflected the rustic setting of the The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe while still maintaining a sophisticated vibe. We’re in awe of the beautiful photos from Sloan Photographers—the gorgeous light reflects the glow in this happy couple’s eyes!
Rustic + Elegant Michigan Wedding
There are so many gorgeous elements in Jennifer and David’s wedding, held at The Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The site itself is rustic, but touches like feathers and lush blooms in bouquets and arrangements from Posh Petals and Jennifer’s absolutely amazing Paloma Blanca gown—complete with an unbelievable rhinestone-and-lace capelet—upped the glam factor in a major way! French Country details and a chocolate wedding cake festooned with more feathers from Dee’s Specialty Cakes just furthered the sophisticated feel at this woodsy location. The images from Amy Carroll Photography captured the magical, charming sentiment of this wedding. And we totally adore the bride’s lottery ticket wedding favors, tied in festive bags with a penny! We’re somewhat teary just looking at the emotion on Jennifer and David’s faces—what an absolutely breathtaking affair!
Rustic Texas Farm Wedding
Lauren and Breck were married on the most beautiful spring day at Stewart Farm in Industry, Texas. Elegant and understated, their decor enhanced the gorgeous surroundings by featuring fluffy, all-white centerpieces of hydrangea, peonies, freesia, and orchids on lovely wood tabletops. Lauren loves to cook, and worked closely with Wade Schindler’s Party Thyme to create a menu of their favorite foods, served on giant platters without the need of any chafing dishes or buffet stands. Lauren and Breck both have parents who have been married over 40 years! They are so proud of their close-knit families and honored them by toasting with champagne flutes from Lauren’s parents’ wedding and displaying their parents’ wedding photos on the dessert table. Beautiful down to every last detail, we are completely in love with their wedding and the images from Brooke Schwab Photography!
Colorful Boston Botanical Garden Wedding
Valerie and Ken’s Tower Hill Botanical Garden wedding was like walking into another time. Every corner was filled with gorgeous flowers and art, every detail simple in its elegance. The greenhouses and gardens at Tower Hill inspired the color and style for their wedding. Julie Lapham Designs created arrangements with succulents and airplants, roses, eucalyptus, and anemone, and many of the succulents are now growing in the couple’s home! Seeded paper escort cards doubled as favors, a Jenga game served as the guest book, and colorful tabletops graced the Orangerie. We’re simply in love with every moment captured by Arielle Doneson Photography!
Romantic Dallas Mansion Wedding
On the day of Katie and Alan’s wedding, Dallas decided to unleash a massive storm, so the couple and their wedding planner, Sarah of Keestone Events, moved their planned outdoor ceremony inside the gorgeous ballroom of Arlington Hall. And while we wouldn’t call a monsoon on your wedding day ideal, we have to say that the stunning indoor celebration may just have been a blessing in disguise! The golden ballroom made a beautiful ceremony and reception setting, and the elegant floral arch by Moss Floral Design did double duty as ceremony altar and a lovely backdrop for the reception! For the reception, white and gold centerpieces enhanced the golden beauty of the ballroom, while a pop of purple echoed the bridesmaids flowing dresses. The result is timeless perfection, beautifully captured by Dyan Kethley Photography!
Intimate + Romantic Winston-Salem Wedding
Melissa and Travis always knew they wanted a small wedding. Their intimate dinner at Winston-Salem’s Spring House Restaurant ticked every box: a timeless and elegant setting, unforgettable food and drink, and treasured personal details. Melissa stayed true to her initial vision of a neutral palette with sophisticated hints of metallics. Amy Lynne Originals designed lush, clustered centerpieces of calla lilies, roses, peonies, lisianthus, hydrangea, and ranunculus, paired with a sea of candles in glass cylinders. The linens—handmade in India and passed down through Melissa’s aunt—were sheer with gold threading and beading, adding just the right hint of sparkle. From the custom cocktails honoring the couple’s two pups to the beautiful images captured on film by Red Boat Photography, this entire wedding is not to be missed!
Tuscany Al Fresco Wedding
Lera and Nick hail from Manchester but chose to celebrate with friends and family from around the world in Tuscany at the gorgeous Poggio Piglia. The villa, with its breathtaking views of olive groves and the Tuscan hills, provided a perfect setting. The ceremony was held overlooking the countryside and officiated by one of the couple’s close friends, and the poolside reception featured lovely olive leaf details in the natural florals created by Stiatti Fiori. As they were planning from a distance, the couple worked with Nazym Kombarova of Bianco Weddings who allowed them to sit back and relax and enjoy their special day with nary a worry or care! Prepare to transport yourself to Italy with the dreamy images from Fabrizio Viganò Photography!
Timeless California Wedding at Serra Plaza
Aileen and Alan fell in love with San Juan Capistrano’s Serra Plaza at first sight, and working with Pure Lavish Events, the couple designed a soft and intimate wedding with timeless California style. Florals by Jenny created stunning arrangements from peonies, hydrangea, and dahlia, and completed the setting with a fountain and sweetheart table both overflowing with fresh white orchids. It was such a dreamy scene! A vintage white Rolls Royce getaway car, marble tile place cards, and glimmering chandeliers are just a few of the unforgettable details that make this wedding from Devon Donnahoo an instant favorite!
Romantic Puerto Rico Destination Wedding
The stunning Condado Vanderbilt Hotel San Juan, Puerto Rico hosted Karen and Nick’s intimate destination wedding, planned from afar by enlisting the help of AMK Events! Karen says “Anne Marie made planning our wedding a dream and connected us with such a fantastic team of professionals”, including the fabulous Anabelle Barranco of STEM Events! The event was relaxed but romantic, with bridesmaids in white gowns of their own choosing, and Karen is a positively exquisite Anna Maier gown with intricate beading and chic short sleeves. The entire day was a family affair, with the couple’s youngest son walking Karen down the aisle to Nick, and their eldest throwing rose petals. Karen’s family is from Puerto Rico, and her aunt created a traditional Puerto Rican wedding cake, and even a second cake with guava filling that had guests lining up for more! Absolutely adore this beautiful family and the images from Lucky You Weddings!
Romantic Boone Hall Plantation Wedding
Whitney and Matt were married on a picture perfect summer day at Charleston, SC’s historic Boone Hall Plantation. A classic color palette of blush and gold accented the rustic beauty of the location. The front lawn, with its ancient oak trees and ornate gate played host to the ceremony, and the reception on the Cotton Dock was decked out with greenery and lush blooms by Lindsay Bishop Events, with chandeliers and candles adding a touch of sparkle to the natural surroundings. Ruffled LulaKate bridesmaids dresses in peony pink added a fun pop of color and perfectly accented Whitney’s gown from Bridals by Lori. Head over heels for this beautiful day and the images from Rachel Red Photography!
Destination Wedding at Italian Villa
Emmalee and Nicolaus were married at a beautiful little church in the small town of Eggi, Italy. After a wedding in the California Wine Country wasn’t quite coming together, Nicolaus suggested a destination wedding and the quaint Villa Campo Verde was a perfect choice for their intimate guest list and traditional style. The couple selected a color palette of white, ivory, and green to complement the natural surroundings, and chose to focus on giving themselves and their guests the full Italian experience, from the curated gift basket from Marigold & Grey to the favors of local olive oil. The walk from the ceremony at Chiesa Di Michele Arcangelo to the villa took the wedding party through town, and the townspeople provided their well wishes along the way, a moment that Emmalee and Nicolaus are sure to treasure forever. We are totally transported to Umbria in the stunning images from Lisa Blume Photography!
Elegant Wedding at Palmetto Bluff
Kathryn and Mark’s wedding was inspired by roots and wood grain, a metaphor for putting roots down: the strength and malleability of wood and the importance of building something with a strong foundation together. The couple illustrated the theme in creative and meaningful ways, from the wooden invitations by Spilled Ink Press to wooden tables and barnwood planter boxes handmade by the groom’s father and laser-cut place cards for each guest. The wide-plank floors and floor to ceiling windows of The Chapel at Montage Palmetto Bluff needed no decoration, but Kathryn and Mark and Spencer Special Events left not a detail uncovered in the spectacular tented reception. Em Creative Floral created chandeliers dripping with greenery and centerpieces of lush, snowy white blooms provided a gorgeous soft contrast to the wooden and metallic elements featured throughout. Their wedding day is full to the brim with special moments and it is beautifully captured by Jennings King Photography!
Romantic Early Autumn Wedding
The leaves are turning, temps are getting a smidge cooler, and autumn is set to make its grand entrance soon, so what better way to celebrate than with a stunning early fall wedding from one of our favorites, Amy Arrington Photography! Vinewood Plantation, a historical plantation home just outside of Atlanta, played host to Melissa and Zach’s whimsical celebration. J. Elliot Style designed an event that’s a mix of rustic and sophisticated, with elegant lanterns and greenery adorning the tree serving as the backdrop for the outdoor ceremony, and swaths of greenery and vivid blooms from Virtu Floral and Event Design gracing the wooden tables for the barn reception. We’re crushing hard on Melissa’s eclectic bouquet – a mix of anemones, ranunculus, dahlia, rose, and even kumquats in early autumn shades make for a stunning addition to her lace gown. Head over heels for this beautiful event and all of Amy’s images captured on film!
Aspen Wedding at The Smith Cabin
Alexis and Wade’s intimate mountain wedding has us completely spellbound! Designed by the incredible Virginia of Bluebird Productions, their natural and organic wedding featured abundant foliage to echo the gorgeous setting. The rustic surroundings of The Smith Cabin seem a world away from Aspen, and Bluebird Productions and Prema found the perfect cliffside location to hold the couple’s ceremony. It’s a view (and a moment) that we’re sure no one in attendance will ever forget! We simply adore how Alexis’s bridal style mixes rustic and elegant, with a fantastic Reem Acra gown and floral crown by Prema. Every moment is sophisticated simplicity, right down to the petite cake from Megan Joy Cakes. Mountain brides and grooms, you won’t want to miss these incredible images from Emily Sacco Photography!
Rustic + Romantic Salt Lake City Wedding
Madeline describes her wedding to Garrett as “the best day of my life, full of people I love and incredible memories.” After an intimate ceremony at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, the couple gathered with their closest friends and family for a fabulous party at This is the Place Heritage Park. Their reception was classic and glamorous, filled with rustic details. Tinge Floral created lush, natural arrangements in shades of blush, pink, and green, with a mix of floral centerpieces and arrangements of tall olive branches. For a personal touch, Madeline hand-lettered the menus, place cards, and invitations, creating wonderful keepsakes of their special day! Guests were treated to a cozy dinner with gourmet fare from Le Croissant Catering, and danced the night away to tunes from The Gatsbys. The warm and wonderful feelings of the day were captured beautifully by Green Apple Photography!
