A color palette of rosy mauve, ivory, and organic green paired with flurry flowers on a sweetheart tabletop set beside the water. Handwritten stationery from Fox & West added an intimate touch. A Jolienne Collection gown and silk linens blew in the wind, and a seaside-inspired cake from Breezy Cakes completed the scene. From the rainbow glassware to the sumptuous armchairs, every detail is beautifully captured by Ball Photo Co!
Elegant Southern Wedding Inspiration
We couldn’t think of a better start to the week than this ridiculously gorgeous inspiration shoot set at Atlanta’s picturesque Swan Coach House! Lindsay Coletta outdid herself designing florals loaded with luscious blooms and greenery in a mix of blush, mauve, buttery yellow, and apricot, and the result is a perfect mix of elegance and romance. Simone Gebsattel complemented the natural beauty of the estate with exquisite details such as upholstered seating from Crush Event Rentals, a charcuterie spread from Sun in My Belly, and delicate calligraphy details by Rachel Anne. Wedding Inspiration from Aisle Society
There are some days that are simply perfect, and today is one of those days, because at long last, we are debuting Aisle Society to the world, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the absolutely gorgeous Aisle Society official brand shoot that I styled with Lauren of Every Last Detail and a dream team of Chicago’s best wedding pros at downtown’s most fabulous wedding venue, Chez. Together with the ladies from Estera Events, we set out to create an event that would showcase all of the things that Aisle Society represents: fun, friendship, community, and of course, utterly beautiful wedding inspiration! Dramatic draping from Drape Kings was the centerpiece of the room, swathed along the ceiling and leading to a ceremony altar flanked by simple but show-stopping eucalyptus arrangements from Fleur. In the rest of the details, we bathed the whitewashed space in color! Our gorgeous ladies donned frocks from Bella Bridesmaids and David’s Bridal in shades from blush to dusty blue and flowing Truvelle and Sarah Seven bridal gowns, carrying bouquets of vibrant summer blooms. The modern but elegant tabletop features glimmering sequin linens and rose gold chargers and amazing confetti popper menus from Sarah Drake Design. I’m brimming with excitement for you to watch the video of the day by the insanely talented Nicodem Creative (I dare you not to get goose bumps!) and see every gorgeous image from Alexis June Weddings!
Sunset Cliffside Wedding Inspiration
Hues of blushing sunset skies set the palette over the rocky shores of Western Australia for this dreamy inspiration shoot styled by Sierra Ramke of Babushka Ballerina. Inspired by the beautiful shades of a single David Austin rose, every single detail oozes romance. Beaded metallic bridesmaids dresses, a romantically styled cliffside table, and lush, elegant florals by Lua Leuca compliment the natural beauty of the setting sun. We adore the gorgeous handtied bouquets with trailing silk ribbon, their blush and ivory blooms; a match made in heaven with the champagne and copper gowns. Prepare to be swept away by the stunning seaside images from Katie Grant!
Romantic Spring Blossom Inspiration
We have the most glorious ode to spring for you today! Everlasting Love Photography captured the stunning beauty of the blooming trees in Des Moines, Iowa’s Waterworks Park. The shoot is inspired by an intimate elopement, and features elegant hand-lettering from Kenna & Louise and gorgeous florals by White Willow Events, with blooms from Boesen Florist to complement the dreamy surroundings. A Jillian Fellers gown is a gorgeous choice for an elopement, its blush tone echoing the pink petals and ethereal sunset hues. We are simply in love with this celebration of both love and the season from Everlasting Love Photography!
An Evening in the Orchards
Be still my heart! We are completely smitten by this fanciful inspiration shoot! The pretty orchard setting, vivid pink palette, and dainty details such as polka dot linens, watercolor stationery, and a blush gown, result in pure romance. A blush Watters corset and Augusta Jones skirt from Anna Be are both both and delicate, capturing the feminine yet wild and free romantic in us all! “Lipstick” colored blooms from Violet Floral Design decorated a rustic-chic wood tabletop, and at each place setting sat a stunning hand-lettered menu from Lana’s Shop, which doubled as a favor box of macarons. Each detail was lovingly curated by Jessica Hearing of A Vintage Affair Events & Rentals, and we’re sure you’ll fall in love with the ladylike hues, lush flowers, and of course, the stunning images from Sara Hasstedt!
Bright and Warm Colored Wedding Inspiration in Sweden
One look at this 2 Brides Photography shoot and we bet you fall and summer brides would go gaga over all of the trendy inspo. The vendor team made up of big names like Lerin Wedding Occasions and The Wild Rose drew inspiration from bliss-inducing range of colors featured in Stockholm all throughout the onset of fall. Rust and blush and soft peachy tones make an appearance and don’t forget to check out the wedding cake by Liv Sandberg Cake Art. The flecks of gold flowers make this inspiration come full circle, and we love how all of the colors form together to create the palette of an impressive sunset. Though we can’t all celebrate majestic Swedish autumns, this shoot brings that beauty to everyone.
Light and Airy Bridal Inspiration with Touches of Mauve
Flirty springtime shades paired with modern touches of gray is making our day today. Courtesy of the lens of Anja Schneeman Photography, we’re on cloud nine staring at these lovely photos of a bride draped in the dreamiest Berta dress. The popping purple appliqué on the gown was quite elemental according to German event designer Irka Fürle from Magnolias on Silk; it inspired the florals for the tablescape and rightfully so! A blend of rosy orchids, lilac-and-mauve colored roses, pink chrysanthemum, and white anthurium make the reception table so warm and inviting, while the stark white plates continue the modernity that this genius team of vendors wanted to play with. If you’re in a part of the world where it’s freezing, let this sweet inspo warm you right up.
Romantic Estate Wedding Inspiration
Though the setting may be in Southern California, the Villa Del Sol D’Oro transports us to Tuscany with its romantic European estate feel. Sweetest Love Events designed an elegant outdoor soiree with a beautiful mix of vintage elements and muted tones. Sibyl Sophia Floral Design created a showstopping bouquet and pastel garden-style arrangements for the alfresco reception and sweetheart tables, whose buttery tones echoed the villa’s graceful exterior. The stylish couple embraced the glamour with a sophisticated pale dove gray Willowby by Watters gown from Mary Me Bridal and classic tuxedo from The Black Tux . We are completely smitten with this dreamy wedding shoot photographed by Devon Donnahoo Photography!
Elegant Classical Seattle Wedding Inspiration
Seattle’s gorgeous historical Rainer Chapter House was modeled after George Washington’s Mt. Vernon home in Virginia. It contains a multitude of antique furniture and framed portraits that have the effect of bringing you back in time to the late 18th century, and this shoot photographed by Audrey Norman Photography effortlessly blended the classical venue with current trends. A neutral color palette of champagne, ivory, blush, and gold melded with the ornate interior, and pops of texture created a soft feel, especially when paired with romantic candlelight on the elegant tabletop with a ruched cheesecloth runner. Botanique Flowers styled a warm and inviting centerpiece with warm peach and sage tones, and The Sweet Side designed a cake with square tiers embellished with ivory flowers inspired by the Pronovias gown from Labelle Salon. Every sophisticated detail in the design by Pacific Engagements beautifully mixes classic and contemporary – we are completely smitten!
Whimsical + Elegant Art Gallery Wedding Inspiration
From Sue Gallo Designs comes this incredible inspiration shoot with stunning florals, modern touches, and a color palette that is to die for! The Art Gallery of Hamilton set the scene, and the dramatic space was perfect for the luxe details: abundant florals, a dramatic ceremony backdrop, and acrylic details from A Special Print to lend a whimsical touch. Shades of mauve, apricot, coral, and blush paired with deeper hues of garnet and merlot in the gorgeous, lush florals, set atop a mauve velvet linen from Simply Beautiful Decor. The mix of textures is lovely, and every detail is flawlessly captured by Kasia Jurowski Photography!
Vintage English Wedding Day Inspiration
Inspired by antique designs and the muted tones of the British landscape, this elegant shoot at Kent’s Bradbourne House is quiet, gentle, and romantic. The Timeless Stylist used the ornate paneling, large windows, and architectural elements as inspiration, bringing in neutral tones, soft textures, and a stunning Ersa Atelier gown. Catherine Short Floral Design created soft, neutral florals, and a chic, modern cake from Little Cake Garden accompanied miniature cakes at each place setting. Not a detail was left unfinished and it’s all beautifully captured by Hannah Duffy Photography!
Exquisite Styled Elopement in Estoril Portugal
Portugal is one of the most sought-after destination wedding locations in Europe, and this stunning styled elopement designed by Splendida Weddings shows off the stunning town of Estoril on the Portuguese Riviera. The magical Forte da Cruz, a gorgeous historical fortress on the ocean, sets the scene, with its 17th century architecture and unforgettable ceremony location. A delicate Mywony Bridal gown in the softest gray was accented by ombre blooms by Decorelle. Lenka Calligraphy created invitations, printed on handmade cotton paper and featuring an envelope liner with an illustration of the fortress. The reception at the sun-splashed Villa Tamariz Utopia featured a spectacular tabletop which paired a neutral palette of gold, gray, and white with deep teal stationery and a romantic centerpiece with pops of berry pink. Every detail is exquisite and the images on film from Slava Mishura Photography are utterly dreamy!
Desert Fine Art Wedding Inspiration
The dreamy desert just outside Las Vegas set the stage for a stunning bridal inspiration shoot designed by Sophie Kaye Photography and Julian N Photography. The soft sand tones were made even more beautiful with a palette of blush, mauve, and silver, carried through exquisite stationery by Plume and Fete and elegant blooms by Layers of Lovely. A floaty Carol Hannah gown completed the look, and it’s all beautifully captured by Michelle and Yasmin Photography!
Elegant Dusty Pink Mansion Wedding Inspiration
The gorgeous Armour House mansion, set just outside of Chicago, inspired this elegant and romantic inspiration shoot conceptualized and photographed by Alexandra Lee Photography and planned by Jordan of Events by JVB. Loose, organic florals by Fleur Couture accentuated the blush, mauve, and greenery color palette, and a showstopping hand-painted cake from The Quintessential Cake and Paper Love Club completed the scene. The result: spectacular!
Modern + Organic Bridal Inspiration
Dreamy, light-filled, and organic… this bridal fashion shoot from Kristen Kay Photography has us absolutely spellbound! Showcasing gowns from indie designers at Grey Pearl, Kristen captured the intricate details, elegant flowing fabric, and beautiful lines of gowns for all bridal styles. Cultivate Goods created a series of stunning bouquets with protea, magnolia leaves, and dusty purple roses, each designed to showcase the unique beauty of gowns by Chantel Lauren, Dolly Pearl, Jaclyn Jordan NY, Christopher Paunil, Loulette Bride, and Tatyana Merenyuk. Each gown is utterly gorgeous, and we are head over heels for the images captured on film by Kristen Kay Photography!
Luxe + Feminine Marie Antoinette Wedding Inspiration
A sensuous, feminine feel meets couture fashion in this spectacular fine art shoot inspired by Marie Antoinette from Lisa Blume Photography. Though you may think we’re transported to Paris, instead we’re in the heart of Washington DC at the Anderson House. This 50-room mansion is truly fit for a queen, and La Fleur du Jour used gold accents, lush florals, lavish desserts, and an abundance of accessories to enhance the setting’s European flair. Details such as an intricate antique ring box, vintage-inspired shoes, feathers, and lace transport you to another era, a time of decadent fashion and extravagant living. The stunning Cari Funkhouser dons couture gowns from Elie Saab, See by Chloe, and Modern Trousseau, and truly embodies the spirit of the ill-fated queen. And of course, there is cake. Fair warning: you may need to pick your jaw up off the floor after laying eyes on the exquisite images from Lisa Blume Photography!
Natural + Organic Wedding Inspiration Featuring Minted
Set in an industrial warehouse space, today’s Aisle Society shoot featuring Minted stationery and decor is natural, organic, and ethereal! Louise from B.LOVED designed two different looks, each showcasing invitations with greenery and floral motifs from Minted. The watercolor influenced Leafy Ampersand suite and the vivid Diamante set inspired a blush, gray, and green setting with botanical motifs, floaty bridesmaids dresses from TH&TH Bridesmaids, and an on-trend macrame gown from Luella’s Bridal. Whimsical gold foil trees dot the tabletop, which sits beneath a canopy of suspended greenery designed by Moss and Stone Floral Designs. Minted’s Vines of Green all-in-one invitation and Petal Surround suite are showcased in the second look, with dramatic black tableware, coordinating black table numbers and menus, and flowing silk ribbons. The greenery inspired stationery sets, loose florals, and refined organic feel are perfectly on-trend, and we couldn’t be more in love with the stunning images by Helen Warner Photography!
Vintage Virginia Estate Wedding Inspiration
The historical Salubria House was a beautiful backdrop for this beautiful vintage Virginia wedding inspiration planned by Bella Giornata Events. Bri and Wes wanted to commemorate their life together and Bri’s red hair inspired many of the shoot’s details, including the stunning florals by Love Blooms. A bouquet full of protea perfectly matched with Bri’s vintage-inspired gown from Betsy Robinson’s Bridal Collection. Delicate gray calligraphy invitations and acrylic menus from Alchemy Calligraphy added a modern edge to the heirloom setting. Smitten with the lovely images by Kir Tuben!
Amalfi Coast Bridal Inspiration
The Amalfi Coast is famous for its stunning beaches and gorgeous pastel color palette, and this inspiration shoot from Toast Events and Lace and Luce! Showcasing the famous sea views and charming architecture was the top priority for this Canadian duo, who partnered with Italy-based florist Rosalinda Flowers Wedding Lab to create a tabletop overflowing with soft linens, blush candles, and ivory and green florals. A modern dress from Norde Bridal and chic hair and makeup by Joanna Falanga was a lovely juxtaposition against the old world surroundings. Prepare to ooh and aah over the magical setting and beautiful imagery from Lace and Luce!

More Wedding Inspiration from San Diego
Chic Beach Engagement Session
Tammy and Stan’s breezy and impossibly romantic San Diego engagement session is the perfect farewell to summer! As the CEO and founder of FitChick, Tammy travels around the globe for work, and a business trip to the south of France presented Stan the perfect opportunity to surprise Tammy by popping the question. Upon their return home, the couple decided to recreate that magical afternoon with a pretty St. Tropez-inspired engagement session! HauteFetes designed a perfect sunset picnic against the backdrop of the picturesque California coastline, complete with a white kite, market tote, and the cutest naked cake from The Crimson Cake. A mod bikini from Bare Necessities (complete with floppy hat, naturally!) and gorgeous blooms from Blooms by Breesa Lee add to the romantic, French mood. Each image from Booth Photographics is simply irresistible!
Balboa Park Engagement Session
Gorgeous does not even begin to describe Carmela and Lemi—these two are a positively stunning couple! The shy twosome danced around a relationship for several months after meeting, but finally worked up the nerve to begin dating and fell head over heels in love. With the help of his sister (who just so happens to be the talented Damaris Mia), romantic Lemi planned a surprise proposal in Santa Barbara, complete with a box surrounded by rose petals, and the rest is history! We can’t get enough of their beautiful, light-filled engagement session at San Diego’s Balboa Park. Lemi is dapper in Calvin Klein, and Carmela radiant in Adrianna Papell. If there ever was a match made in heaven, these two are indeed it. Enjoy these lovely images from Damaris Mia!
Romantic + Intimate San Diego Wedding
Jill and David’s elegant San Diego wedding is intimate and family-oriented, and that makes for some gorgeous, laid-back smiles in these photos from Samuel Lippke Studios. Jill, naturally, takes center stage in a lace gown from Claire Pettibone—always a stunning choice! The outdoor ceremony is punctuated by classic all white bouquets by LaVonne Crawford of Adorations Botanical Artistry. At the reception at The Grand Del Mar, styled by Thomas Bui Lifestyle, shimmering beaded garland hanging in trees, silvery-gray linens, and plenty of lush white blooms and candlelight create a romantic atmosphere. We are absolutely swooning over this entire affair—see it all in the gallery!
Jennifer Dery is one of those photographers whose images never fail to take our breath away. They are timeless and stunning, yet comfortable and intimate—attributed to over 10 years of experience as a photographer and her knack for capturing all the special little moments that happen over the course of a couple’s wedding day. We’re just crazy about Jen and are thrilled to share some of her story with you today.
Ombre Wedding Inspiration
I love the delicate, romantic feel of ombre elements, and this gorgeous inspiration shoot from Eventity Inc highlights ombre in the most beautiful way! The Darlington House in La Jolla was the backdrop for a beautiful bridal look and tablescape in a classic pink, white, and sage color palette. The fresh, clean tabletop features flowers from Sweet Pea Flower Company and soft ombre menus and place cards from Cali Cards, and to top it off there is the most amazing cake from Hey There Cupcakes! Sit back and enjoy the fabulous images from Bryan N. Miller Photography!
Real Weddings: Jill + Luke
Jill and Luke had an elegantly preppy wedding at Hotel del Coronado in northern California. Luke and his groomsmen wore gray pants, navy sport coats and uber-preppy Vineyard Vines ties, while the bridesmaids wore short navy Jenny Yoo dresses in various styles. The elegant white and gold reception was positively stunning, and my favorite detail is the place setting – clear chargers rimmed in gold, revealing a doily framed menu underneath. Such a fabulous detail that worked to compliment the stunning florals by Kathy Wright & Company. A gorgeous day with beautiful photos by the always amazing Jennifer Dery!
Real Weddings: Lily + Bobby
Lily and Bobby were married at the gorgeous Santaluz Club in San Diego. The venue provided lots of inspiration for them and their wedding planner, Thomas Bui, created a beautiful and romantic event with just a pinch of rustic thrown in. Any event that incorporates big fluffy peonies and succulents is for sure to be something I love and the florals by Adorations Botanical Artistry certainly did not disappoint. These photos by Vallentyne Photography are gorgeous and yet again make me long for my own California wedding!
Real Weddings: Emily + Rodrigo
Although Emily and Rodrigo were married at San Diego’s The Prado at Balboa Park in front of almost 280 of their friends and family, the way they look at each other in these photos it’s like there wasn’t anyone there but the two of them. I adore all the succulents (check out the arbor covered in them!) that Adrianne Smith used throughout the event, including some smaller potted ones on the tables that guests were able to take home. Both beautiful and green! Thanks to Jennifer Dery for sharing these beautiful photos.
