Elegant + Glamorous Milwaukee Wedding

Tori and Jon’s Milwaukee wedding is nothing short of fabulous. Tori says “once we saw the Grain Exchange there was no question that it fit perfectly!” and we couldn’t agree more. This spectacular venue is equal parts elegant and glamorous. and Evenement Planning created a beautiful ambiance with a color palette of gold, dusty blue, peach, gold, and pinks. Every detail from the cocktail hour to the late night snacks was accounted for! Sparkling sequin linens and tall centerpieces by Impressions by Esther graced the tables, and a custom bar by Barlotta’s added a finishing touch. Each moment is beautifully captured by the incredible Kelsy and Butch of The McCartneys Photography!

In their own words

How did you meet?
Jon and I met senior year of high school through mutual friends. After high school I attended the University of Minnesota and he attended Marquette University. After our long distance relationship in college I moved back to the Milwaukee area and we got engaged a couple years later.

What is your proposal story?
On a Thursday night, Jon asked me to head to the Milwaukee Art Museum with him to help his mother with her business. With a big work meeting the next day I reluctantly agreed and we headed to the art museum around 8pm. We parked on the north end of the museum and walked down a long hallway towards the Calatrava. Once we arrived there were pictures on easels representing each year we were together (8 years!) accompanied with flowers and some of our favorite love songs playing in the background. Jon got down on one knee and asked him to spend the rest of my life with him.

What was the most important to the two of you while planning?
We spent the most time picking out our photographer and videographer as we wanted all of the memories and details were captured. In the end we were extremely happy with our decisions.
